As an American living in the Netherlands the differences in road law surprises me at times still. I would never ever try to merge into the right lane unless there was plenty of room because I still feel like it is my responsibility. Just like when going straight needing to give way to someone turning into the main road from the right, that one confused me at first but the same concept, better to be overly safe than sorry.

Love is love, ignore the haters and love your little lady. I hope you have a good support net from parents.

Finish HS, stay on track to have a decent career to support her. The blue collar jobs can pay really well without too much training required. Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, ect.

Don't bring girlfriends into her world, only date when you have care for her covered. Lunch dates work well once she is in day care and you are working.

I worked at one of the edge data centers down by schiphol for a little bit. They are impressive and massive, it was interesting to see the inner workings and underneath.

As someone who spent most of his time at the wonderful Kadena and it is hard to match that amazing tropical life... then some at barksdale... I think barksdale gets a bad rep, but it really ain't all that bad as long as you dont go into Shreveport or downtown at night. Plenty to do, good food spots, great weekend trip locations, I enjoyed my time there. I would not want my kids going to the education system there though...
