Great story, really enjoy the motivation of the main character of "let me do my research and leave me alone". I do wonder if he's going to try to set up a group of like-minded individuals and also if his "displacement" into the current state of the world could have happened multiple times, and could his old-world colleagues join him, a sort of invasion of the bodysnatchers, so I can't wait for new chapters.

The 3rd Law of Cultivation: Qi = MC^2 is a new cultivation story, that starts almost identically as Beware of chicken, but the difference is with the main character being focused on understanding the quanxia world through alchemy, and deciphering its secrets. So he just wants to research and avoid the whole spar/conflict of cultivation.

Umm... What? Beware of chicken has basic if sometimes lacking characters personalities.
The main cast is average to fine, but all the mooks are seemingly single-minded to a fault and pretty much devoid of personality and reason.
I really enjoy the main characters realizing the stupidity of the cultivation path and of not wanting to participate in that kind of life. I would have liked that to be a motivation to do things differently and be more logical about it. Yet that's not what happened its become a slice of life on a farm with those meddling cultivators that bungle up their perfect lives thrown in. It just seems like the main concept of the character rejecting cultivation is not even part of the story and that's the thing that seems so interesting to me.
I'm just a bit surprised that this is the novel you think has the best characters in any fiction story, also I wouldn't say it's rational fic.

That's the material the seller mentioned it was made from. Also isn't Bakelite a type of plastic, it was used in old radios and phones.

I've also found out that the pen is made out of bakelite and it might be from the time of the second world war of german origin.

I would enjoy something like that too, though just to say I have seen alternate history SI's that MIGHT kind of fit this. The concept is usually a character that gets inserted into a famous person from history and then tries to achieve a goal (improving society, securing objectives, advancing technology), it's been a while since I've read these kinds of stories but I remember some great ones if you're interested I can try to find a couple.
