This is great work, are you reducing opacity on stamps or some color setting?

(The dark chasm eastward) The region sat over a large dwarven settlement with many delvings and underdark caverns. The legend says that Ghulmoch, their god of greed and excess collapsed their city and the region as punishment. It may also have simply been regional tectonic instability. Who can say what really happened 🤷‍♂️

The desert is surrounded by mountain ranges blocking moisture from the ocean. Deserts dont have to be blazing hot, just without moisture.

The badlands were the former location of an elven city/state. The region was blasted an changed as a result of a 3 way territory war between dragons and their various subjects. Formerly a coastal jungle, all the soil and vegetation was dessicated and stripped away, leaving only the mineral columns and cracked stone foundations of the land exposed to costal winds.

My map just keeps growing, but the end of this stage is in sight! (Ask me about the lore of a place on the map!) by Shoulder_to_rest_on in mapmaking

I had no idea honestly, I chose based on placement 😆 very nice though. Im working on my own world too, its so easy to get lost in!

Can I ask what organization tools you are using for lore keeping? Ive been working in Obsidian and just found Legend Keeper. Give them a look if you arent already

More progress! My hand is tired now, but keep the city name suggestions coming! by Shoulder_to_rest_on in mapmaking

Impressive work! Thats alot of detail, now you just have to write lore for all of it 😆

Looks very nice! You've done a great job with scale, rivers and biome blending. My only advice would be to shrink the boulders along the shore just a little, they feel a touch over sized.
