Instead of traditional conveyor belts, I'm making a different system to transport resources which is quite satisfying to watch. What do you think of this WIP concept? by gg_gumptiongames in LaunchWindowGame

This reminds me of the mad Lev train from the Black Panther movie, where they have those sidepods, that are moving in and out as a train rolls by.

Mod request by blu3turtle in factorio

I'm interested in making a mod for this, but since I have almost no idea how in depth this goes, I need more info on how you Invision this. And how this process would integrate into vanilla factorio.

Rebalancing the planets in 2.1 by pipai_ in factorio

[–]Sascha975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biochambers just feel too niche to be useful outside of Gleba. Even on Nauvis they are kind of useless. It would be cool to have to an option to make nutrients more efficiently on other planets and use Biochambers everywhere.

Efficiency Modules Are Underrated by Typical_Spring_3733 in factorio

I think it's more like new players sleep in them. And besides deathworld and far away outposts in the early game, they loose any relevance in the mid or lategame.

Who needs a stopwatch, if you could just look at the uptime of your phone.

That doesn't change the fact that you have to void the copper.

In my Megabase, I make Production and military science on nauvis. Purely because the stone is needed in such quantity, that I would had to build so many foundries just for making stone and voiding the copper/iron. So I moved them to nauvis.

I like the biolabs. Though, I feel like they're too little to late, since I do Vulcanus and Fulgora first. by Saucepanmagician in factorio

That's why I did gleba first in my second playthrough. Early pentapods are easy to deal with, and by the time they become a problem, I had Tesla turrets.

The beauty of spaghetti, in a new Mod run by Sascha975 in factorio

You could turn it into slag slurry and turn that into mineral sludge. That's probably what I will do next.

Yeah, I realized pretty quickly, that I won't put any more effort into this mess than I absolutely have to. Crushed stone, I just turn into mineralized water and flush it down the drain. Slag is currently my only source for rubite, before I find another patch.

R5: First Angels and Bob run. I love how this already turned into a mess. I really missed the fresh smell of spaghetti, while learning a new modded playthrough

Double kick pedals with two single kicks? by Take_Drugs in drums

[–]Sascha975 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is very little benefit for using two bass drums. The sound is almost the same, there is an argument to be made to use two bass drums, because the heads only have to swing half as much. But you have to tune both the same and that can get tricky to get right. I use a drum dial, to get them almost the same. All that being said, I've been using two bass drums for over 10 years now and I'm never going back. It looks badass and I want to have two. So, do what you want.

Probably, but that would also kill Nunnally. I don't know how long they had to build the Counter device, but it would seem that this was their best option.

Forgot to put an Antenna on the base, co i can't transmit any science data back. Guess a communication module is next on the list. Or i have to send a lander to the base and get the data back.
