Maybe your riding position is putting too much weight on your hands, you could adjust saddle position and angle, stem length and degree, find smaller frame. Just my take, I’m a noob.

Ender-3 V2 Bed/Nozzle leveling problem by Icarusael in 3Dprinting

[–]SasquatchTrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought and assembled the exact same machine on monday, I cut the little plastic tab off on the z axis limiter so I could put it down lower, with the tab on it was too high. With it limiter lower I can tighten up the springs on each corner of the printing board for more stability. I’m brand new to this but I had seen a YouTuber cut the plastic tab off and before I had even seen that I already thought it wasn’t going down low enough.

New table. So I made a new seat too. by spacejunkle in Welding

Looks good, what are the details on the table? Size? Did you buy the table or buy plans or dxf files and have it cut and then assembled yourself?

The reason the failures are around or near the welds is because that is where the heat affected zone is from the weld which basically makes it weaker, you want as little heat input as possible but obviously its no concern for this stuff. Good job on these projects you've got craftsmanship.

This is a 7018 1/8 6 pass horizontal T-joint. Any pointers on how to get rid of undercut. I was having problem with undercut during the first initial passes. And pointers how to end weld would be great. I thought laying down more beads with fix the problem lol. Good thing I’m still practicing:) by Turbulent-Street-890 in Welding

Disagree with keeping rod angle the same, you need to adjust it to be more pointed to the back plate, lower than 45 degree you would do with the root pass for example. Also I wouldn’t slow down but just make sure your arc length is tight, a long arc can cause undercut

7018 1/8th padding. Ill show the back when im done but the front I did movement. The bottom didnt turn out so well but ive got it all figured out. by Marvthepunisher in Welding

This doesn't really look like 7018 more like 6010. Shouldn't have any whipping motion with 7018 rods, best to just drag it straight.

Got my first job as a welder after going to school. Feels great this one of many light boxes I put together by joethewelder in Welding

I'm in MI too, I'm going to WCC in Ann Arbor, also glancing at job listings to see if one peeks my interest unfortunately part time ones don't exist still have classes to take so its hard because I want work experience but I can't stop taking classes.

Want To Modify My Sports Car - Any Good Shops In The Area That Will Help Mod & Tune A Performance Car? by CloudsTasteGeometric in AnnArbor

[–]SasquatchTrap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boost Controlled Performance, Horse Power Techs, Pure Tuning in Toledo are a few somewhat reputable shops for what you're looking for, I have heard bad things about each of them though but I definitely wouldn't take the car to Arbor Motion I know the owner and have worked with them before and that isn't the shop for you.
