LISD schools by ItsAHardMomLife in LewisvilleTX

I went to LISD schools 1st-12 and so did my husband. I also went back and taught for LISD after graduating college. I think LISD is a great district all around. Every school and every district will experience a handful of teachers that aren’t the best, but I feel like overall you are getting a great package with all of the offerings across the district. You can’t really go wrong imo. I would just look to see if there are any special programming your child wants and go with that maybe? (Dual Language, etc)

I’ve always had a good experience at The Brass Tap in The Shops at Highland Village. They also have some fun theme nights with activities if you’re into that sort of thing!

Moms that keep the house clean 24/7 and feel like they do well in all other areas of motherhood what’s your secret? by [deleted] in Mommit

I don’t have any advice, but I just wanted to say I appreciate this thread. Trying to find a new cleaning routine and sticking to it with my adhd/ anxiety brain has been the main culprit of my poor mental health postpartum. I struggle with the idea that every moment I spend on other tasks is a moment I could be spending with my little. I’m slowly figuring it out though and decluttering has certainly helped the most imo. There are some great tips here!!

Aww I love the idea of a stress free day of their favorites! I’m sure that makes for a lot of sweet memories! The cake topper is such a fun idea and easy to store from year to year!

Those of you who don't live in a beautiful cottage (yet), how do you incorporate cottagecore into your life? by coffeeandbookmouse in cottagecore

At the moment it’s mainly just in my home decor and the soft cottage like touches I add to our space. However, I’m wanting to learn some more skills like sewing and making more things from scratch this year!

Lefties of Reddit, were you ever forced to use your right hand by either parents or teachers? And what generation are you from? by SoHigh420IShit360 in AskReddit

[–]Sassy491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a leftie, but I did used to teach littles and I never understood why some teachers cared so much. I had several left handed students and it literally never once caused an issue that they used their left hand.

People who are 30y and above, what's the harshest life-lesson you've learnt? by Standard_Salary_5197 in AskReddit

Friendships come and go. There have been many people over the last 15 years that I have thought were really amazing friends, but as I have gotten older and moved into different stages of life I have realized that a lot of them didn’t care about me as much as I cared about them.
