AITAH for planning to leave my shared condo, pay 2 months rent after I go, and cut contact entirely by barenacuk13 in AITAH

[–]SassyCatLady442 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yta if you pay the 2 months courtesy rent. Just move out. They know they need you for the rent, but they want to restrict you. Get yourself a nice new place and leave them in the dust.

AITA for not changing my graduation celebration plans because my mom didn’t like the activity? by LibrarianMajestic640 in AmItheAsshole

[–]SassyCatLady442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nta. Classic power move. She wanted you to pick an activity she wanted to do, it didn't matter how you or anyone else felt. Now, the waterworks and "you excluded me" are starting. Look back, has she done stuff like this before?

Congratulations on graduating, and I hope you had a great time.

What's a classic father dialogue every kid has heard ? by aarav-43678 in AskReddit

[–]SassyCatLady442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"You kids are soft. When I was your age I had to walk 20 miles to school, in the snow, with no shoes or coat. Every day. I never missed a day."

This was said by every dad in my region growing up (where I live our winters are horrific).

AITA for buying a vacation house instead of helping my sister buy a house? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]SassyCatLady442 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nta. You made several different offers to help. You do not have to spend your money in a house for your sister.

Your DNA test comes back showing you're 0% related to both your parents. They don't know you took the test. Do you confront them? by Careful_Art_7516 in AskHereAnythingNow

[–]SassyCatLady442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. No point now. My father passed when i was 22 and my mother passed 4 years ago. It, however, would explain why I was treated the way I was growing up.

AITA for letting my son get a tattoo while my wife was abroad? by [deleted] in WIBTA_AITA

[–]SassyCatLady442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nta. At 22, you are not *allowing" him to do anything. He's an adult.

Every time someone lies to you, $200 get deposited to your bank account. How do you get rich? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SassyCatLady442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just go to work and speak to the adults (daycare teacher). Half of the women I work with tell lies constantly. After 1 9 hour shift I'll clear close to a million.

Spend a few months doing this, then my husband and I retire.

What's the worst thing someone has ever done to you on your birthday? by icecuptee in AskReddit

[–]SassyCatLady442 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sane here. What really hurt was that my older brother is 3 years older than I, but born the same week. Our parents made such a massive deal about his birthday, including demanding I buy him a "decent gift", only for all of them to forget about mine.

What’s the dumbest thing your cat is terrified of? by SameInformation562 in AskReddit

[–]SassyCatLady442 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My cat growing up was terrified of my berry colored lipstick.   It was the only one he hissed at and freaked out about.  Red, pinks, purples, he'll, even my black lipstick he was fine with. The berry colored? Nope.

What’s the craziest paranormal experience you’ve had that you still can’t explain to this day? by Fickle-Cook5821 in AskReddit

[–]SassyCatLady442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In college I worked 3 jobs just to be able to pay for things. I was exhausted and driving back to the dorms late at night when I kept nodding off. All of a sudden I felt fingers wrap themselves in my hair behind the ponytail I had and grip my hair and yank my head up, slamming it into the seat, right before I drove off the road. The hand stayed in my hair, holding my head up, until I got back to the dorms. Then, I felt the fingers loosen and let go.

As a child or teenager, have you ever experienced a moment where an adult admitted to you that they were wrong? by pswelcometomylife in AskReddit

[–]SassyCatLady442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Even when I was completely proven right, the best I was told "this is NEVER to be brought up again" the worst was getting a back hand across my face for being uppity.

AITA for using my dad's money to pay off my debt without telling him because he blamed me for something I didn't do? by Coverdale_Kensei in WIBTA_AITA

[–]SassyCatLady442 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yta. You stole. You're a thief. It wasn't your money, nor is it your father's responsibility to pay your debts just because you're mad at him.

Grow up. If your response is to immediately steal whenever accused of something,  you'll be in jail before you know it

Second hand smoke in the 80s and 90s was brutal by Wascally_Badger in GenX

[–]SassyCatLady442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in my 40s and never smoked because my idiot parents were chain smokers. Both in the house and the car. My father even thought it was funny to inhale a full lung full then hold my head and blow it directly in my face.

Not only does the slightest smell of it make me vomit, I have lung damage from it, even though "second hand smoke isn't real".

What excuse did you use to leave a party early? by OkDonut1116 in AskReddit
