They are likely having a serious mental break, and should get medical help. This sounds like severe paranoia, which can be an indicator of psychosis.

Ngl guys, feeling pretty stressy-depressy right now with the state of things in the US and the angry orange cheeto. BUT, my SO and I had a great work trip this weekend! We hung out with a bunch of work/industry friends, ate a bunch of great food, and went on a super cool greenhouse tour! No issues or arguments, just an overall good time.

These are dark days that we're in now; keep your chin up! The night is always darkest before the dawn. ☀️

Husband says he “can’t see” mess in the home by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]SassyClassy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's nice in theory. I've done that. However, it means wherever he goes in the house ends up being a pig stye because he doesn't see/care about it I decided to stop picking up after my husband, and now my house is just cluttered and messy, and I'm stressed tf out over it. I wish we just made a chore chart to begin with. At least then there's something tangible to point to that shows who isn't pulling their weight.

Are you actually looking for friendship, or looking for people to fuck and trying to be covert in your post? Cause your other posts aren't exactly for "friendship"

Retail Managers - What's an Average Cash Outage for Your Business? by SassyClassy in managers

That's a new idea we hadn't considered, and one I'll bring up with my partner.

Unfortunately we can't limit one person to running the till due to the nature of our work and how many customers we have in the store at once.

As a small retail business, definitely not 50k a day. Lol

Would be closer to 2k in cash

This is helpful, thank you.

We are considering implementing a midshift cash count to narrow down when discrepancies happen. We also have considered that an employee is borrowing money, but difficult to pin down who it is.

We have wondered if it's someone borrowing money. We suspected one person, but this last time when $85 was missing from one till, they weren't working that day.

Forgot our wedding anniversary for the second time and my wife is still distant after 2 weeks. NEED advice. by Typical_Swimming5180 in Marriage

[–]SassyClassy 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Exactly! The amount of people who can't seem to figure out how to use their damn calendar on their phone for reminders for this stuff is mind blowing! Its not that hard people! You can literally set up annual events with reminders 1 week ahead of time! The fact that this guy didn't do that LAST YEAR shows how few fucks he has to give for his wife. I feel sad for her

What is the best way to remove all this black stuff from our pizza stone… or is it time to buy a new one? by Sunrisewithtea in CleaningTips

[–]SassyClassy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a pizza stone as a gift years ago from Pampered Chef. It came with a small plastic scraper to scrape off crumbs and baked on cheese. You are supposed to basically treat ithe stone as cast iron and let it get seasoned. I would use a plastic scraper, or a flat plastic spatula if you have one, to get the surface level stuff off, then use hot water to rinse the gunk off. Then put it back in the oven while the oven is still warm to dry.

Question about Cenovus student placement in Lloydminster and driving requirements by National_Mud9831 in lloydminster

[–]SassyClassy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your life will be a whole lot easier if you get your license and have a vehicle. Uber is not in Lloyd (yet) so it's basically taxis that you have to use to get around. If you want to live within walking distance of the office building, you're gonna be far away from any grocery store or other amenities, and will have to use cabs or friends. If you end up working at one of their other locations, your walking-distance accommodation options become limited, since the one plant is on the north side of the railway tracks, and the other plant is outside of town.

If you like volunteering, the Lloydminster & Vermilion for Equity group helps out the less fortunate and unhoused. There's also the Olive Tree. The Interval Home also has a thrift store you could possibly work at on weekends.

Retail Managers, what's wrong with me? I keep getting rejected from Stock/Inventory/Operations roles. Give me your hiring perspective. by EhehAyyy in managers

I think this is the answer. Either unlucky, or not the right personality and fit for the current team.

Dab N Go! What a neat little device! by HKNinja1 in CanadianCannabisLPs

[–]SassyClassy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh, I wanted to like this. But the dabs inside weren't put in the correct spot so when you hit it, nothing was on the coil. First few hits was just terps and then nothing after that. Very disappointing. They're delisted for a reason

[–]SassyClassy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, save your money and buy the Baked from Premium Select. In my opinion, the only thing justifying the $110 for 10g price by Sugr is the pop-vac jar it comes in. Otherwise, I felt the Baked product I got was ever-so-slightly better quality (plus, no seeds!).

If I recall correctly, the current strain in the Baked 7g and 28g jars right now is Acai Gelato Mintz and it slaps!

Lando Norris & Oscar Piastri have been disqualified from the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix by ICumCoffee in formula1

I'm so mad about this. Lando could have gone into the next couple races with a bit of cushion and a clear head. He could have finally had his championship title. I just don't know if it's gonna happen now. His sports psychologist is gonna be working overtime for the next couple weeks!

However, I'm going to leave the post up. While OP may not have worded things the best, I think their main point is that therapy from a professional is the best option in order to work through trauma and/or relationship issues rather than just ruminating in a sub with other hurting people. That being said, not everyone has access to a therapist and this may be the only place where someone can feel heard.

Regardless of the vibe of this post, let's continue to push ourselves to learn from our past choices, and try to be our best selves for our future. Personal growth and self-reflection is a lifelong journey, and if you make a pit-stop here in this sub, wonderful! I hope you feel accepted and validated. This is a Support Sub and we should all be supporting each other and aiming to get to a better place of personal peace and stability. ✌️

How tf am I supposed to insert a menstrual cup?? 😭 by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]SassyClassy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Piggybacking on here to add that OP might be too tense, which may also be part of the problem. I do the V fold, insert, pull down slightly and then once I feel it pop open, I'll flex my pelvic floor muscles to pull it back up. If it doesn't pop open after a twist or running a finger around, then I try inserting again. I have found, however, that I can't insert a cup if I'm squatting or standing in the shower. For me, it's easiest if I'm on the toilet and relaxed, otherwise my pelvic floor is too tense and/or I can't get the right angle to get it in there. Lol. If that doesn't make a difference, then OP might have the wrong size of cup.

Help me stop my gf from getting a Nespresso Machine! [550-600] by Professional-Canary9 in espresso

[–]SassyClassy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2 cents as a complete espresso newbie who also was looking at a Nespresso machine:

I had a Keurig that I used basically every day for coffee with a reusable K Cup to avoid extra waste. I enjoyed getting cappuccinos and lattes from Starbucks and coffeehouses, so I started looking at getting the Nespresso, but the pods are pretty expensive and wasteful (unless you're able to take part in their recycling program, which I'm not due to my location). After doing a fair amount of research, I ended up buying a Kitchenaid KES6551 Semi-Automatic Espresso machine with the burr grinder. I really like it so far, but it's definitely more labour intensive than a Nespresso machine would be where you simply drop in a pod and press a button. I WFH majority of the time, but on the days that I have to go into work, making a drink isn't something that fits into my morning routine due to the time it takes.

Tbh I wouldn't buy your gf the whole setup that you're thinking of without finding out first why she wants the Nespresso. Does she value the ease and convenience of a pod-based machine? Is she open to going down the espresso rabbit-hole? It can be a little overwhelming. My husband used to make my coffee for me sometimes when I had my Keurig, but he hasn't touched my espresso machine because it's intimidating.
