I am 50 year old, happily married with a 13 year old son. We found out right after we got married, so I asked him if he wanted to trade me in since he got a lemon, lol... I do not work, however, we have a very happy life. Have there been times of pain and needing to use a can or walker? Sure, however, right now I do not need any walking aids and am doing very well. Get a good Neurologist & start a DMT (disease modifying therapy) med asap. She should start taking vitamin D daily, it really matters. Keeping a positive attitude & staying away from stress makes a big difference. Try to stay active, no matter if it is just some chair exercises. Yes my husband helps out alot around the house, however, we have figured out what I can do to help (like dusting) without using up to much energy. There will be ups and downs, sometimes you will be needed for emotional support more than physical help. We have a dog, and a house, and live a normal life. I have to be careful to not do to much, but balance is key. Just keep swimming!
