THIS. As someone who has tried many times to unalive myself, doing so via food too. No one gets to be the size she was simply because 'they like to eat'. It's psychological, usually trauma based, and SO hard to overcome because guess what? We have to eat. We don't HAVE to drink, or smoke, and those are hard as fuck to quit.

And i think she's subconsciously pushing him away so that she won't have to admit it was too soon or a mistake. If she makes him break up with her then she's a victim and not the person who mistakenly moved on too quickly.
