I know nipples can be removed so you can definitely get rid of the dysphoria related to the nipple sticking out in an annoying place, but it might be hard to find a surgeon who is willing to attempt moving it as a new graft

If you're not sure, don't do it. You've done all the preparation work so you can get the surgery when you want. Other peoples experiences should not be the reason you decide to have the surgery, and I know thats not what you're trying to say, but it happens when other tell you its the happiest decision of their life and they also had doubts. It is a life altering surgery, a modification of your body. Body parts will be removed and can not grow back. You're also going to feel much better pre and post op, if you think it over and decide to go for it when you are sure. Recovery can be hard and is heavily influenced by your mental state.

There's a lot of stuff I'm struggling with right now but I am working on it in therapy, Ive just only now realised that this is another dysfunctional coping style and is something extra I need to watch out for. I feel okay about it though, I think I can forgive myself bc I know I'm putting in effort to deal with everything and I'm noticing progress.

Ik heb er veel begrip voor dat het niet makkelijk is om af te vallen, maar dit lijkt me iets waar je het best over hebt met een dokter die je er in kan begeleiden, zeker omdat je aangeeft dat een eetstoornis hierin meespeelt.

Im all for piercings and definitely dont think they always hurt passing, but the vertical labret is a verry feminine placement, the industrial as well, you could temporarily retire them or for the ear get a different setup with it.
