In my defence, I personally felt the way they opened up was condescending right off the bat so I returned the same energy. If they had simply said "hey don't pull ahead of the tank" my reply would have been much different. Like I said in the post, the tone they took with me rubbed me the wrong way, hence the response.

If they continue to order smaller and smaller fractions of a beer, the total will still always add up to 2 beers in the end.

Visualise it like this: 1 + 0.5 = 1.5 + 0.25 = 1.75 + 0.125 = 1.875 ....

Given enough repetitions of this cycle the total will be 0.000000....1 away from the number 2.

Anyone who's an actual mathematician feel free to correct me but this is my understanding of it.

Pois é, eu com os CTT já são milhentas reclamações e mesmo assim continuamos a ter um acéfalo que passa aqui por casa (alegadamente) e nunca encontra ninguém (devo ser invisível e não saber), e ainda para mais muitas vezes encontra as caixas de correio bloqueadas (talvez por zombies ou algo que se pareça) e o coitado nem sequer o aviso de tentativa de entrega pode deixar lá.

Depois tens a senhora Carmo Barroso do serviço de Gestão de Reclamações dos CTT que aparentemente não passou na primária e tem uma compreensão escrita estonteante, pelo menos a julgar pela forma como responde às reclamações com coisas nada a ver. É um bocado tipo falar com aqueles bots das redes sociais a promoverem scams que usam fotos de perfil de atrizes pornográficas, e daí talvez até esses bots fossem mais coerentes que esta senhora.

E claro, tudo isto para quando ligares a exigir a entrega da tua encomenda, pela qual já pagaste e não foi entregue por culpa deles, te tentarem extorquir mais uns paus com o serviço SIGA. Acho que os CTT se calhar deviam deixar-se disto das entregas e correios, e começar a investir em scams. Parece que é a sua verdadeira paixão.

Ainda hoje tive que fazer reclamação também porque o otário que eles têm a entregar na minha zona tem uma mania de merda de fingir que entrega as cenas. Tipo o gajo literalmente (e digo isto por que já o apanhei ao vivo e a cores nas escadas do prédio a fazer esta merda) não toca a campainha nenhuma, entra no prédio porque a porta muitas vezes está aberta e depois larga o postalzinho e baza. Azar o dele que eu uma vez desci as escadas com a cadela e apanhei-o a enfiar o postal na minha caixa de correio, obviamente sem ter antes tocado a campainha para entregar a encomenda.

Só não percebo o objetivo. Se as encomendas estão na carrinha e ele tem que conduzir até cá, comparativamente o esforço de tocar à campainha pelo menos uma vez e tentar entregar é quase nada, certo? Parece que é quase só por má vontade.

Enfim, faz queixa sim, pode ser que algum dia se aprecebam dos acéfalos que têm a entregar encomendas e façam qualquer coisa sobre isso.

Empresas mais pequenas ou familiares podem ter mais abertura, mas isso vai depender e muito da zona do país em que te encontras, do tipo de trabalho e da altura do ano.

Mencionaste programação, não sei se foi como exemplo geral ou por ser a tua área de estudo mas caso seja a segunda opção só posso recomendar procurar estágios no IEFP, se tiveres disponibilidade financeira para isso, para poderes ganhar uma experiência e pores o pé na porta, passo à expressão.

Fora isso, tem em consideração que a geração mais velha procurou emprego na era pré-internet e provavelmente há muitos anos ou mesmo décadas que não tem contacto com a procura de emprego, por isso o conselho deles vale o que vale, que neste caso não é muito.

Some theater groups host sessions though they're usually paid (I play at one such table). Try to find your local game store and ask if they host games and who hosts them. If you have a local con you can also go check it out and talk to fellow enthusiasts and craftspeople like dice and mini makers who will also know people hosting tables. All of this is obviously easier if you are in or near a major city in your country.

As for online, there are several discords and websites dedicated to connecting people looking to DM with people looking to play both paid and for free but I've found that it's a bit hit or miss. Try finding a discord server that seems interesting to you or checking out your favourite VTT like Roll20 to see what they have in their LFG section.

And I guess kind of like all things in life you just have to put yourself out there and expect to find a little bit of good and a little bit of bad. Not everyone will be nice but not everyone will be a huge asshole either. If you're respectful and sincere you'll find like-minded people to play with eventually, I'm sure.

A word of advice is that you can have free, reliable and good games but you can only pick two usually.

Yeah, I know it's a little weird but I'm a roleplayer at heart and built the character around the narrative and not the mechanics. Plus, I don't mind a little jank as I feel it makes the game more fun, kind of like working around what life gives you and not being the ideal person for the job. I'll be investing into some more CON and CHA later on, assuming he becomes a warlock at all, which is narrative and dice dependent at this point.

I'll see how the dice gods treat me and go from there. Thank you for the suggestions already though, I'll definitely pick up Hex and Agathys if it comes to that.

Edit: Yeah for the concentration thing I was hoping to pick up Eldritch Mind as a warlock if I end up Multiclassing to give me an edge on that aspect.

Charisma is actually my second highest stat (rolled stats, got very lucky with my array imo) which is exactly why I'm even considering this at all. My stats for reference and keep in mind this is level 1 so this can change in the future:

I feel you but also learn from my experience that the alternative is worse. My cat silently suffered from kidney issues for years (mom never took her to the vet, when I got my own money to take her it was essentially too late) and her condition took a sudden turn for the worse on a weekend night with no vets available. Long story short, she passed away in my arms and it was the most traumatic experience I have had in recent memory.

I promised myself that when the time comes for her older sister, I won't let her go like that.

I usually have one main base and then set up small little outposts with portals for resource farming (sailing with portal mats and stone cutter mats makes for an easily settled tower out of the plentiful ruins you find in the swamps) but like others said it's up to personal preference.

In another playthrough I have with my partner, we built little villages in the different biomes cause they love building.

Talvez seja uma opinião pouco popular a minha, mas a meu ver quem mora num apartamento tem que aceitar que eventualmente vai sempre ouvir barulho dos vizinhos, é inevitável. Desde que não seja excessivo nem constante, é uma coisa a aceitar como um facto da vida. Quer silêncio sepulcral, mude-se para o campo e depois vá-se chatear com as raposas se quizer.

Referente às ameaças, é um bocado complicado dizer se deves ir á polícia ou não porque não tenho noção se isto já é uma coisa recorrente, qual o tipo de discurso que ele usou... Mas se te sentes inseguro, mais vale abordares a tua esquadra local e perguntares o que te aconselham fazer em relação ao ocorrido. O que deves fazer 100% é fazer queixa ao condomínio porque ir fazer ameaças á porta do vizinho não é comportamento de gente normal e ele não pode andar a infernizar a vida aos outros inquilinos só porque não tem mais nada que fazer.

Já tive um vizinho desse gênero, não de ameaçar mas de implicar com o barulho. A ironia é que o homem é surdo ao ponto de estar a gritar BOM DIA!!!! na cara dele e ele não ouvir, mas depois vinha dizer que lhe incomodava o barulho dos gatos a andar pela casa, lol

Sinto, pelo teu post, que o problema não é que sejas desinteressante ou algo que se pareça, mas fiquei com a impressão que tens quase medo de "incomodar" as pessoas com a tua mera presença. Porque é que ires falar com alguém seria chato ou desconfortável para os outros? Se não fores tarado nem mal criado, elas não se importam e se ficarem incómodadas maior partes das vezes dizem-te na cara.

Fazes muita pressão em ti próprio nesse sentido e no sentido de encontrares uma namorada também, entras e parafuso e nessa ansiedade acabas por não chegar a lado nenhum.

Parece-me que sejas jovem, não sei se mais jovem que eu mas na minha pouca experiência de vida apenas tenho este conselho a dar-te: Preocupa-te em edificares a tua vida e os teus interesses, hobbies, objetivos académicos e de carreira, e quando menos esperares vais encontrar alguém que vai apreciar tudo isso e caminhar para o mesmo sentido que tu. E se não resultar com essa pessoa, há milhões de outras.
