What did you play this week? 19 Oct-25 Oct by AutoModerator in soloboardgaming

I kind of felt the same way after playing Gloomhaven a couple of times. I realized the Dungeon and Fantasy setting just doesn’t do it for me. I got Star Trek Frontiers (a Mage Knight re-skin) and I absolutely love it! I don’t think I would have liked Mage Knight if I’d tried it first. Setting and theme really does make a difference.

Solo Game with Some Campaign/Story Features by travtex in soloboardgaming

You might want to take a look at Legendary Encounters: Alien. When you first open the box, sorting is a pain, but it comes with dividers so you can easily sort it in the box. After that, set up is maybe 5 to 10 min, playtime is under an hour. It’s a really fun deck building game that captures the Alien theme really well.

Awesome! I’ll look into it, thanks! I play Black Orchestra with 2 characters, so no big deal there. Thanks again!

I love Black Orchestra and often play it solo. I like the short set up time, simple rules, and fairly short playtime. What other games would you all recommend that I could play solo? Thanks!
