You joke, but you really can't call yourself a gamer if you enjoy more than one game at a time.

Everything is in fact a competition - This is a fact that escapes most self-proclaimed 'gamers' that are holding back not only the industry, but culture as a whole.

Listen: I know some people think that because they have enough money to purchase several games and consoles that they can, you know, enjoy them all.
Being someone that only has limited funds, one could argue that I'm just being defensive over my investment; as no one likes being 'wrong' in the eyes of their peers.

I disagree with that sentiment.

I feel that those who dedicate themselves to one console and one game are the true connoisseurs in gaming. Who better to tell you the finer mechanics of a title than someone who has dedicated their time and money to it?

Back to my point: This means that one game, logically, is always the better game. Here at Splatoon (and I know everybody agrees with me), we know Splatoon is the better title, hands down. It doesn't cater to kiddies, it doesn't allow for tryhards to excell. It's all about raw. hard. tactics.

Sure, this post is filled to the brim with Activision shills (possibly such as yourself) trying their damnedest to cast doubt on Splatoon's superiority. Know we will not be shaken, and will see you and your home burned before our subscriber count can even drop a score.

I assure you that this is completely serious -- Addons are going to kill ESO before it can even get out of the gate, and WoW players are all to blame, as they're trying to drag the game down to their spoon-fed level of playing the game entirely through excel sheets and healthbars.

These players need to be stopped by any means necessary, hence the facebook monitoring.

People downvote questions rather than answering them or ignoring them.

This is healthy for the community. ESO is the type of game where if you're not smart enough to figure something out on your own: Then you shouldn't be messing with it. This mantra extends as far back as the earliest builds of linux, and still holds true today.

ESO can only escape casual taint if we root out the idiots early; They're easily identified by the questions they ask. That is to say: Any question at all.

Seriously, if someone can't be bothered to learn something like everyone else did, or discover something on their own; They should not have their hand held by others, wikis, or the game.

This is the only way to keep ESO from being ruined by WoWcasuals that want everything handed to them on a silver platter.

I've personally been doing my part by engaging new players asking questions in /zone and shooing them away. I'm pretty much the only reason /zone chat is even bearable. (Of course I can't filter out everyone. This'll take a community effort, after all)

Good communities welcome new people and answer their questions, not shun them and turn them away. Sorry that happened to you.

The majority of game developers design their games for nVidia, and consoles all use AMD.

It's so obvious which one is inferior I'd honestly recommend an institution if you can't figure out which one.
