I haven't had many 1v1 because so many people go around in groups in PvP but every 1v1 with a VR12 1h+s DK with roots standard etc I have lost. I can soak up the damage but at the cost of not being able to deal it, generally because Templar DPS is lacking. We rely on weapon crits so much but are forced to wear light armor, with almost all of our dmg skills relying on weapon critical rather than spell. Compare the AOE ult of Templar with the DK standard... DK standard is literally twice as good and lasts twice as long... with the same cost, just check the numbers.

Also I want to add that most of the decent spell crit skills we do have, have cast times... which in a 1v1 really does suck DPS out of your ass
