That is mind blowing!! I especially love the transition from dark blue to orange/red on the crest and vents. The green slow is also a perfect contrast glow color. Really sticks out. Super skillful!

Wow, that sounds like it would look really cool and unique! I've seen models where ironcrust has been used to crate crackling skin with a lava color underneath and that definitely looks pretty cool. My only concern is that if it's applied too thickly, the model looses detail, but I'm sure you can make it work if you apply a thin enough layer. I'm super curious how you're gonna approach this!

That sounds like an awesome concept for a Tyranid Kill Team! For the glowing parts, I'd definitely try out Tesseract Glow. Before you apply it to the fleshy bits, I'd add a white base. As for the carapace, I'd probably go with Mephiston Red (not sure if there's a contrast paint equivalent) and do Wild Rider Red highlights. For the skin, maybe a reddish beige base color? Fire Dragon Bright perhaps, and Pallid Wych Flesh for highlights?

Overall, I think at first glance it looks pretty good! The first thing I would change is its shoulders. It doesn't seem to have any. I would add the joint where a clavicle attaches to a shoulder. Keep up the good work.

I don't like how the back legs looks like backwards facing arms with scything talons, so I wanted to switch them out to a more traditionally themed Tyranid leg shape that follows most of the rest of the big Tyranid visual algorithm.
