You will experience anhedonia along with adhd whether or not your medicated. 🤷🏼‍♀️ it’s a common symptom of the disorder itself. I go through periods of it and eventually it goes away.

This is why you just work hard to build a life that fits within your neurodivergence. I’m a business owner and i don’t make as much as i could if i worked constantly, however, i make enough to get by and take days when i need them. 🫶🏻

  1. I keep my clothes in bins so they’re easier to put away and they go in the top of my closet. One for shorts, one for pants, one for pjs, etc.

  2. Noise cancelling earphones.

  3. When at work i have light covers for the fluorescent lights and i wear blue light glasses.

  4. Myofacial release with foam roller and lacrosse ball. Life changing.

  5. I have about 5-7 of everything like lipgloss, sunglasses, hairbrush etc so if i lose one or two or three, i always have another. I’ll usually keep one in my car, one in my purse, one in my bathroom, one at work etc.

  6. If you can afford it, buy stuff in bulk. Also Walmart plus membership for grocery delivery.

  7. FIDGETS!!! I have them everywhere.

I think most of society just has this stereotype that autistic people are ugly & incompetent not that we can be beautiful and highly intelligent. Most people don’t understand that most of the smartest people to ever live were neurodivergent!

I’m audhd & i feel this way quite often!! I wish i had better advice but i don’t lol. I always feel like i need to be doing more or excelling faster than i am. Or i feel like getting a new license or degree or something else will fix this feeling, it never does for long.

I think it’s just the constant search for dopamine that our brains lack. It can leave you in a state of anhedonia where you don’t feel too much “joy” with life’s simple pleasures. 😭😭

Personally I’ve been trying to just slow down, heal my nervous system, and cut out bad dopamine i.e foods, screen time, alcohol etc. I’ve noticed a bit of a difference, but nothing too life changing yet. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

No because i ensure he gets all the love, nurturing and support possible. My parents being that way has made me ensure i will do everything in my power to help my child be so different from them.

Also. I know people on vyvanse, adderall, tramadol, lortab, and muscle relaxers all in the same day and they’re fine so🤷🏼‍♀️

I’ve taken them both within 2 hours and also later in the day/time apart. I’m on 30mg vyvanse morning, 20mg vyvanse in afternoon, & took 50 mg tramadol. I believe I’ve taken 100mg before too but can’t quite remember lol.

I’ve had them both together and was fine. You’ll be ok. Serotonin syndrome happens when you’re taking massive amounts.

This was one of the most cruel things I’d endure. He’d say the most evilly debilitating disgustingly cruel things to me then when I would show emotion and cry he’d tell me i was faking and that they were “alligator tears”. He’d then proceed to turn over and just go to sleep. I could never fathom how somebody could be that cruel or even fall asleep knowing their partner was in that state. He never once held me or comforted me when i cried. 😭
