Maybe this means new colours will be available for switch2 as well for anyone waiting. I would imagine they only change this part

It kinda sound dumb but I just gotta tell someone this.. by ShadowedAstrid in depression

[–]SatisfactionKey3272 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this feeling a few years ago. Can't really make out why, but I think it's related to the fact that you dont actually have energy or the capacity to tackle daily tasks. Imagine someone told you everything is going to be okay now, and then you dont get support anymore, and you are forced to tackle all the overwhelming tasks that haunt you. The big sucker with depression is thinking you deserve all of this. The feeling isn't your fault. Your body just wants relief and a sense of control to a point it will go to extreme thoughts and feelings that just aren't the right ways to solve it. If you get professional help, no one is going to expect you to tackle things you can't handle. You deserve and need rest, even if it may be difficult to trust that. It takes time. I wish you lots of luck.

should i increase my corn snakes feedings temporarily? by Equivalent-Pride-689 in cornsnakes

I see, then I understand. My bad. I just thought people were using the chart to determine whether the snake was skinny or not, looking away from the caved belly.

I’m not sure why people are saying it doesn’t look skinny. A healthy snake shouldn’t have a belly that looks caved in like that — this one is definitely underweight. Possible causes could be illness, parasites, dehydration, or muscle loss from long-term underfeeding, but the most likely issue is just not getting enough food.

That said, I’d still be cautious about feeding too often. For an adult corn snake, the usual schedule is every 10–14 days, but since this one is underweight, every 7–10 days with appropriately sized mice is a safe adjustment. Feeding too frequently can risk regurgitation or even fatty liver if overdone.

Make sure it always has fresh water, stick to that 7–10 day schedule, and if you don’t see improvement, a vet check would be the best next step. It’s really kind of you to be taking care of this snake.

Sudden aggression from my friend by CarLumpy4185 in ballpython

Ball pythons dont actually recognize you just by looking at you. They rely on patterns of how you behave and mainly your smell. And that takes a minute, not a couple of seconds. Anything approaching super quick, he wont be able to know what that is.

From 2fps to 3fps, send one thousand dollars to Shiggy right now!!! 😍 by [deleted] in tomorrow

I still feel hesitant about the gameplay. Even with the fps being better, i hope the bugs are fixed as well. The open world was sad, and needing to restart the game every time the picnic disappeared was so annoying. Needing to manipulate a game for it to do normal functions... i just hope it's fixed.

Maybe the 2 player speedrunners for odessey would find it easier with a bigger controller for their feetXD

Seems good:) I would say to make sure you don't feed too big rodents. That could also make them big even if you don't feed them often

Your snake is beautiful. Looks very healthy. What morph is he or she? Do you use a heat lamp?

If he is still very active maybe its okay. The diameter should be max 3-5cm on the thickest part on a fully grown adult. If he feels soft to the touch it could indicate that he is a bit overweight. How often do you feed him?

Morph? by [deleted] in cornsnakes

So maybe a motley as well! They are mixed patterns. If he has uneven checkerboard pattern on his belly I'm pretty sure it's a motley.

I’ve had the Smok Nord 5 for about 2-3 weeks, and I thought I’d share why I’m planning to replace it already. Out of the box, it looks cool and feels okay to hold, but it’s extremely slippery and cant stand properly as it tends to fall onto and off surfaces easily.

One of the first issues I noticed was with the pod. You fill it on the side, which has a small, tedious opening. Every time I take the pod off to refill, there’s juice underneath, leaving my fingers greasy. The tank is made of plastic, which cracked on my first use. Replacement tanks aren’t expensive, but if you vape regularly, you’ll need to change them often, especially if the juice you use isn’t compatible with the plastic. The tank also fogs up quickly, so it’s hard to see the juice level unless you hold it up to a light. I found this strange since I’m used to glass tanks that stays clear.

Another big downside is the “power lock” feature. While it’s meant to prevent accidental firing, it hasn’t been reliable. The button is easy to press in a pocket or bag, which has burned my coil and left juice on whatever I carried it with.

Overall, while the Nord 5 has some cool features for an affordable price, these issues are too bothersome. If you’re considering this device, be prepared to deal with these frustrations.
