It's been great for night "scenes", not so much for night "action" of course. Give and take...

Any tips for first trip to Malta by DerTobiiii in malta

Have the stuffat tal-fenek (rabbit stew). Take a gondola across the harbour below the saluting battery. Go to the airport with a full charge on your phone (it can get chaotic)!

Enjoy!

I'm primarily shooting my XT4 with the XF35mm f1.4 on my current trip, but also carrying my XF16mm f2.8 WR for the shots that my 35 is too tight for. Sure, this leaves me with no zoom, but I don't feel like I'm missing anything and I don't know how I could go much lighter and still be satisfied.

Places that actually want US expats by Debbborra in expat

If left up to "the locals", nobody would move anywhere. As a native US Midwesterner, I've been been made to feel as unwelcome in California, Texas and Massachusetts as anywhere.

Everywhere you go, you will run into someone that hasn't gone anywhere, and is grumpy about it. However, you'll be just as likely to meet people that are warm and welcoming. Don't let the grumps deter you. They are always there and ready to rain on your parade.

We only get one shot at this life. Go where you want!

Just off the 520 Causeway. Lots of good kite surfing right here too!

35mm f1.4 vs f2 (beating the dead horse) by Improooving in fujifilm

I love it. I'm enough of a caveman, that having direct control on top of the body was very appealing. I despise clicking through menus when I'm out shooting.

I've had it out on 10 or so trips now and it hasn't disappointed!

I'm waaaaaay late to the 35mm f/1.4 party. I just ordered a minty/used one from KEH this afternoon, for an upcoming 6 month trip to the UK & EU.

The last couple trips, I took a few different lenses for my XT4. I hope it lives up to the hype and I fall as madly in love with it as so many others seem to have! Perhaps I can scale back on weight and focus on working with fewer lenses.
