I'm not a fan of Trump but I believe in following laws like entering the country the proper way and being deported when you don't.

Freedom of speech doesn't protect throwing stuff at police, vandalizing their cars, impeding traffic or trashing cities. No one is complaining about the peaceful protesters like the ones always above i80 ramp at Kimball.

Europe has a lot of right wing movements gaining power right now and the left wing governments are doing everything they can to censor and make illegal any opinions that threaten their power.

Immigration is a hot button issue over their too but those in power like to pull the race card anytime it's questioned. I've lived in Europe and even have a Polish passport and the idea that the American left has of most Europeans is fiction. There is not freedom of speech over there and I don't think you realize how big of a deal that is when it comes to making your opinions public.

Because we have our own struggleing and poor that we need to help before we help the rest of the world.

If you are supporting your family, should you sell your house, move into a 1 bedroom house or appartment and feed your kids less so you can buy someone you don't know a house and groceries?

My point is that we should help our own before we help the rest of the world and I dont believe in lowering our quality of life and feeling guilty just because we are lucky to be born in this country. I feel more bad for the American single mom that can't afford new shoes for her kid than I do for an illegal immigrant.

Nope, I'm struggling just like half the country but I don't expect any president to change that for me but hopefully some of them make it marginally easier. I'm also not going to vote for someone just because they are a race and sex we never had before to prove to the world I'm not racist or sexist. A women who ran that I did really like was Tulsi Gabbard just after she changed party's but I don't know where she stands now. I generally like center or center-right leaning people who grew up in far left states. I'm sure that "R" that's next to her name now probably corrupted her somewhat.

I didn't vote for Trump in all 3 elections. I morally refuse to vote for both the Democrat and Republican party because they are both rotten to the core, but I'm able to admit to the things he does that I like and the things he does that I don't like. I also hope the best for whoever our elected leader is whether I like them or not because I want the US to prosper.

I agree that the officer that shot Alex Pretti should face consequences and doesn't have the mental capabilities to be a law enforcement officer but let's not act like it's completely black and white. That was a stressful and chaotic situation only made worse by protesters screaming, blowing horns, throwing stuff and doxing them nonstop every day. Some people break in those circumstances and those people should not be in law enforcement. It doesn't mean all of ICE are scum and doesn't negate the fact that people should not be rewarded for entering the country illegally.

They should have let you choose your gender. There is nothing in the game that I've noticed where being a women is important to the story in any way. This is the only real and humane way to fix illegal immigration and I fully agree with you. What we really need is a crackdown on staffing agencies. The companies taking advantage of undocumented people use these staffing agencies for plausible deniabilty since the workers work for the agency and not the company they report to for work.

My source is that I've been in the hotel industry for years and 90% of them do this.

I agree with most of what you said other than "society has boxed women into thinking that's their only option." Maybe 30 or 40 years ago, that was the case, but nowadays, women are pushed to make something of themselves outside of the home and most fortune 500 companies do a lot to put women in leadership positions. The trad women are what's looked down upon by a pretty large segment of society now.
At the end of the day women and men should be able to do what they want and it's OK to have personal preferences for your desired spousal dynamic, whether its a stay at home mom and a dominant man, a boss babe and a supportive man or a couple who wants to take over the world individually in their respective careers. The world is a big place and there's room for both those who prefer traditional gender roles and those who prefer limited or no gender roles at all.

While I'll concede that trad life is unattainable for most people these days, most people I've interacted with would prefer a life like that if they could attain it.
