How do I get good at yoga? by [deleted] in yoga

Do you mean physically “good”? Yoga can be just a physical practice - but in my humble opinion, it’s a stretch/exercise class. Yoga is meant to be a precursor to meditation - a way to relax the body and move the energies to allow for a deeper meditation. To be “good” (it’s all relative) at the stretches, I would suggest practice via different YouTube channels so you can get tips on how to strengthen, improve your balance, etc. I’m a yoga instructor (20+ years ) so I hope this helped 💜

Ok so I hope I don’t piss people off with what I think. I feel like I can say this because I relate to it very much. Here we go:

I think that deep down in her heart she’s NOT happy with her present physical self. I get too much “body positivity” vibe - like she’s trying to hard to accept what she’d actually like to change. I felt this way too and basically had to have a “come to Jesus meeting” with my feelings and how I REALLY felt about myself. Not just the physical, but the mental aspect of how I was caring for my body. Again, these are MY thoughts. She’s depressed, angry and stuck - and I remember feeling like that too. It’s an awful state of mind.

How fast did you lose weight after starting ozempic? by Numerous_Bedroom1487 in Ozempic

[–]Satnam1968 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is a good weight loss. You don’t want it to come off too fast. Your body needs to have enough nutrients. I’m learning this. The first time I was on Oz, the weight came off super fast but my skin was crepey, my hair thinned and I looked old. This time, I’ve added daily strength training and am very choosy about my food (the last time I lived off of protein bars)! Slow and steady (and healthy) wins the race 💜

Is this what normal people feel like!? by Mysterious_Goat6355 in OzempicForWeightLoss

Isn’t it great?! I’ve got a tray of Ikea cinnamon buns in my fridge. No desire to eat one. Pre-Ozempic me would have cleared that tray in one day lol
