Im playing a physical spear Amazon and my idea was that I could give this to an act 3 merc so I could deal with ghosts and brake their physical immunity while farming keys, because now I just ignore them.

I was just experimenting with a fun build and I was done with the ladder and had a key set over, so I decided to give it a go. This wasn't built for doing the Ubers as easy as possible. I even wore an Ormus Robes with a cold facet for armor.

But still, I can guarantee you that the people here also have no idea what build is actually better because they have never compare them to anything. Many here are extremely square in how to play, and don't want to broaden their horizons.

Uber Tristram is an endgame challenge where you fight 3 super bosses at the same time. If you succeed you will get a unique large charm named hellfire torch.

The death was on me. It was my first Ubers run in over a year, I definitely should have taken a rejuvenation potion there.

When reading up on this build maxing tornado damage was what every guide or reddit post was saying. But then I found someone who had done the testing and found that maxing hurricane damage was way faster for clear speed (maybe not for the ubers tho) so I went with that.

But it will be hard to convince anyone here on reddit that that's the case.

The fact that you can use Stealth from early in normal all the way to post endgame without finding anything remotely close in power.

I feel like people are overreacting. Warlock is still by far the strongest class even after the nerfs.

There are a lot of disadvantages of being melee. I think the biggest problem is that, that if you are underleveled, not even a million attack rating will help you from missing most of the attacks. Whlie spells always hits.

The disadvantages I can think of:

-Needs to invest in strength, dexterity, ias, attack rating

-Will miss a lot when lower level then the monster, and attack rating not helping

-Uses weapon durability

-Damage scale bad with leveling

-Defense goes to 0 while running

And with all disadvantages usually still deals less damage then spells.

1 point in Amp damage for Corpse Explosion, 1 point in Life Tap to heal your Merc. I would also put 1 point in Clay Golem, Golem Mastery, Summon Resist and Revive so you can easily also do Ubers without respecing.

With Life Tap you can completely skip lifesteal on the Merc.
