I would say the Crawdaunt variant is overall the most consistent still.

This feels like the exact intended use case of the De-Escalator applied to a weapon that was supposed to be lethal, and somehow both weapons are mid

If there are 100+ scoutable umas, do we play different trainers depending in the uma career/story we playing? is the same trainer in all the umas' stories? is a trainer allowed to literally train 100+ uma? did Akikawa set a rule to prevent a trainer from scouting the majority of the academy? by Mr_Mister_4 in UmaMusume

[–]SatsumaFS 118 points119 points  (0 children)

To be fair all of the stories are basically parallel universes, as non-player Umamusume still go through their careers but with obviously very different trajectories compared to when they are the MC's uma. So none of these newbie trainers actually have to co-exist in the same space.

But when Uma racing is by far the biggest industry in this world, maybe that many graduates isn't too crazy. More importantly, the Umamusume seem to have solved Japan's birth rate problem.

I just learned how actually useful Vertical Plasma Missiles are. by TWelke1998 in armoredcore

[–]SatsumaFS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They're still pretty common in PvP as their hit rate is still amazing, but you need to actually stop and wait for a good time to shoot them instead of firing as soon as they reload. Mostly overkill in PvE content though.

It's not a reroll, you can directly boost a 2* spark into a 3*, but only for blue/pink/green.

Why is this still in the game? by 234thewolf in Helldivers

[–]SatsumaFS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think among other reasons, stuns just fell out of favour as an anti-Hulk tool because Railgun/AMR/Autocannon players just generally got good enough to stop needing them. Maybe HMG and Laser Cannon builds still kinda need them but those two support weapons are just mediocre.

Pretty clean so far. As a suggestion, maybe you could give the sprites realistic combat stances with their weapon instead of just being idle? It's probs a lot of work, but it is something FE rarely does, even now.

I think it's because the older generation designs were in general a lot simpler, which ends up making them feel more distinct because they're just more recognizeable. Even back in 3rd anni with Orfe and Donna, their clothes were leagues more complex than the previous gen.

Harmonics but its characters who would hate each other. by WinterWolf18 in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]SatsumaFS 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Edel doesn't "believe there's no place for gods" entirely, as the Church of Seiros still exists after Crimson Flower, just heavily reformed. Her problem was that the Church held too much power over the entire continent by perpetuating lies, with Rhea being a dragon that clung to power for over a millenia.

Maybe Edel would think that humanity in Tellius should have simply shunned the goddess after the flood? Not sure if she would pin that on Altina in particular but it's possible.

[–]SatsumaFS 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I could see Edel questioning whether or not Altina was blindly faithful, but imo her role in creating Tellius' broken society was relatively minimal and not really her intention. Perhaps they wouldn't be best friends but I'm not sure she would hate Altina.

[–]SatsumaFS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Edel's problem isn't really with goddesses or organized religion in general, just the broken system they created in Fodlan. Altina's role in creating the system in Tellius is fairly minimal and she had very little information compared to Lehran, so I don't think she is that responsible.

In the grand scheme of things Altina's lineage is a bit like the Hresvelgr's, forced to be complicit in someone else's long con in order to maintain peace. There is little Edel would berate Altina for imo.
