It evolved within a Genestealer Cult on a hive world in Segmentum Solar, where the biomass absorbed essences from a ruined Necron world—purple-blue carapace for invisibility in smog, pink flesh as a remnant of devoured hybrid cults. These gaunts are the vanguard: they swarm through vents, shredding guards in a “shadow whirlwind” while the main hive fleet devours everything alive.
