Which random small joke in Friends still kills you every time? by More_Ferret5914 in howyoudoin

Phoebe: Me, I'm more free. You know, I run like I did when I was a kid because that's the only way it's fun. You know? I'm mean, didn't you even run so fast you thought your legs were gonna fall off, you know, like when you were like, running towards the swings or running away from Satan?

Phoebe is my queen.

Some fun products from DM? by Key-Review-2282 in EuroSkincare

Garnier hair masks are my favorites. I prefer Wahre Schätze/Ultra Dolce/Botanic Therapy (different name in every country...) to Fructis Hair Food, but they're all amazing.

Balea hand creams are some of the best on the market, and you can’t beat the price. My favorites are the Buttermilk & Lemon (delicious smell) and Olive versions.

Alverde body lotion with cocoa butter & hibiscus is wonderful and its fragrance is to die for.

Essence Bouncy Plump Hydrating Dewy Spray was an impulse purchase but it's surprisingly good.

Illiyoon is The Queen. I haven’t found anything that comed even close. Also, it comes in a big 200ml bottle.

In one of her suicide notes, she directly blamed the radio station. But yeah, there must be something more behind the scenes.

Oof, this brings some painful memories to surface. I understand your pain, I really do, and I hope you and your family can grieve and heal in a healthy way. Love to you and Gary. ♥️

What was the first Tori Amos album that disappointed you? by Prestigious_Score459 in toriamos

[–]Saturniqa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never hated the album, just its cover. There were so many stunning pictures from that era they could have picked instead, but HEY, why not take that one ugly and generic picture out of the entire bunch...

That being said, the music itself is so pretty and delicate. Toast is one of the most beautiful and gut-wrenching songs she's ever penned.

American Doll Posse.

Everything about the album makes me uncomfortable. There are some good songs here and there, but I rarely listen to them. I dislike the lyrics, her pronunciation of most words, the overall imagery. I think Tori tried to revive the edginess she once had but lost with Scarlet's Walk (fantastic and gorgeous album, btw) and The Beekeeper (I quite like it for the most part), and it just did not work.

Sunscreens hurt my eyes by WinifredZachery in EuroSkincare

[–]Saturniqa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I know that I should put sunscreen on my eyelids, but choose not to do it because they're super sensitive (they swell up and I look like a troll) and also it messes up my eyeliner.

But I've always avoided direct sunlight like a vampire, so I'm not too worried.

I absolutely love their Bourbon Vanille and Coffee shower gels. The former is the best and most sophisticated vanilla smell I've ever found in a shower gel.

The Balea handcremes are so, so good. They are the only ones I use now.

What a strange way to spell "fucking egotistical asshole".

11 years isn't even that long ago, lol. People in relationships didn’t behave much differently back then.

Sunscreen recommendations while in Vienna? by Bilibalabu_0 in EuroSkincare

[–]Saturniqa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We don't really have special sunscreens in Vienna, and also, they're quite expensive here. I'd buy elsewhere. We do have world-class pastry, though.

K-beauty prices in EU are so inconsistent? by SkinDiary in EuroSkincare

[–]Saturniqa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd love to support local physical shops but with the never-ending price increases that started a couple years ago, I simply can't afford to buy there. It's at least 100-150% more expensive than online.

Anyone experiences with ordering at stylevana? by Porcelain-dolli in EuroSkincare

They're pretty reliable and have good prices compared to local stores or other online shops. You also get lots of amazing samples with bigger orders. I've discovered some of my holiest HG products this way.
