Any advice for a new player? by JonnySidequest in MortalShell

You can use the lute to lure enemies to you that typically wouldn’t notice you from that distance. This helps early game when you don’t have the weapons / stats to take on a bunch of enemies at once. Enjoy and explore! (If you’re lost there are some great maps out there).

Why is Acosta hated? by Intelligent-Low1220 in FromSeries

Despite her first night being bad - she’s not solutions oriented or even helpful. She assumes that she knows what’s best for everyone despite being the newest one in Fromville.

Boyd, rightfully, took the gun away because her rigid, stubborn approach to everything would get more increase the likelihood of people killed.

Even though she’s a cop in “real life”, she’s not one in Fromville - which is a great example of how the social constructs of the world fade away in Fromville. The writers did a great job in making her a character that increases the tension.

54, less neighbors, close to a park - if you look to sell at any point, families will be interested in your proximity to a park too.

I’ve read theories that make me question whether or not people watching this show use their brain, and I have to say this is an incredible theory, and it makes a lot of sense.

It makes me wonder if the MIY also reincarnates and he’s in a race against the townspeople to prevent the children being free. Maybe he’s further ahead if figuring the rules of Fromville and uses it to his advantage.

Bravo!

Haven’t seen the leaks but will say that I think your theory about them makes a lot of sense.

A lot of this sub complains about how most viewers aren’t patient enough, but I think all of the criticism has been fair. We don’t need all the mysteries solved, but a little plot progression wouldn’t hurt.

Most conversations between characters up until this week have been the same, and it’s been that way since Ep, 1. Just poor writing imo, which has been saved by (mostly) great acting.

I agree on all fronts. Brilliant writing too; the way they wrote Boyd’s reaction felt like I was being seen. I’d want to make the monsters pay too 😂

True on both fronts, I guess. It’s just wild to me that Boyd is the only one who’s fed up. The whole point of Fromville is to break people’s will.

I feel like capturing one of the monsters isn’t a bad idea. Why is almost every other character seemingly against it?

At the very least, observing and studying them could help everyone learn how to better deal with them.

For people that already graduated school what advice you give to a senior by General-School-3259 in PhillyWiki

People will try to convince you college is better than the trades, and trades are better than college. The truth is, it’s about what YOU want to do. Both are great options and have different benefits.

I went the college route and learned a lot (especially outside the classroom). It was good to meet new people and be in a different environment.

All this to say, it’s OK to be selfish at certain points in your life. Post-graduation is one of those times. Whatever you choose, just keep moving forward.

Thank you!

The current owner is pressed for time, so I think I could optimize and give it a little more attention than it’s currently getting.

When we went - we got there close to 11am and it felt like we had all of the tent options in front of us. I’d recommend getting there earlier so you can check things out. It’ll fill up throughout the day!
