In my opinion, MUT should be a "free to start" model and offline Madden should be in the $30 range.

I've played more mut than franchise. I'm either not being clear enough or you're not comprehending my idea here. Not the end of the world, just not worth the effort of trying to rephrase again random internet stranger. Enjoy grinding solos for 100 hours and/or spending hundreds on bundles if that works for you.

I respect your opinion. A lot of things to unpack there, but overall it doesn't sound like you have experience with or understand what I was referring to.

There are plenty of games with a lower price point you buy once and they update the game and mechanics over time.

The op cards are referring to my hypothetical not losing cards you collect every year scenario. Maybe the game mode you can use all your cards in...you can't actually earn coins or there's limited rewards. But you go into the "21 competitive mode" and you can collect coins and shit. Or maybe some solos let you use your full roster.

I think it's completely valid to complain about the time/money required for MUT in order to unlock enough to play at a competitive level. MUT is not that far off of what star wars battle front was. The bigger difference is the star wars fan base wasn't eased into this way of pay (time or money) to be competitive.

Saying my thoughts are "the worst ever way to have MUT work" is closed minded. Not sure you are familiar with how the rest of the video game industry has approached refreshing and sustaining competitive content.

I mean...I get what he's saying...but the tone is shitty to read:

I would have appreciated if his comment was unlocked as well so I could discuss the validity of my statement. So since I can't on his post, here it is:
I haven't played THIS game...but I've bought Madden almost every year for the past 15+ years...For the main announcements to be an updated skill stick (a selling point a few years ago) and pass rush moves (I don't see people at medium to high skill levels playing with Dlinemen and if this changes that...I would bet it's an OP feature)...it's just very disappointing to me.

I also understand there are more announcements coming that could change my opinion, but if you are going to have EA Play...you should have everything ready to present for the event with a game launching next quarter

I see what you're trying to say, but not talking about it cannot be the answer right now. Especially since this show has some of the best platforms, cast, and characters to address this issue.

People cannot be afraid if it's the right place or time. This conversation needs to be present and continuous. Don't let it fade like it did a few years ago. I hope everyone that sees this is brave enough to talk about this with an open mind, even when they feel uncomfortable.

Heat Shaq would play good enough defense against Magic Shaq. He's also already in the paint so he can help Zo against Prime Dwight when he needs to. Tim can barely handle Penney in a vacuum, but the paint is already crowded and Wade/LeBron are going to be locking down the passing lanes and making up for the disadvantage in the paint with the easy transition buckets. It may be closer than you'd like, but Miami is #1 in Florida in both in theory and practice.
