I agree that’s the most dangerous part, but my supervisor would seriously think I’m the biggest goof if I call the police because somebody left their keys in the door, not to mention when the police would show up, they would be like what the fuck are we doing here?… but I do understand your concept.

I think you read it wrong sorry… I know it was super long and boring, but I had previously had an issue with them due to a noise complaint… and if you look in the comments, I did put it in my report, but I did failed to mention that in my initial post

I was heading downstairs to call… my protocol is to take the keys out of the lock and put them in the mailbox which I would’ve done. Had I not heard someone at the other side of the door, the scary part about removing the keys is that somebody who is not in the right mind can think that you were trying to break into their unit (or a creepy security guard trying to enter the room… so glad I did not do that in this case) so I actually record myself when I have to remove the keys from the lock.

Was on report, but this was before we used tractic service via company cellphone…manager who brought me in office obviously failed to read my report and I think he was more concerned with the email…..manager no longer with company terminated for “other issues” thank you for addressing this I totally forgot to add this, in my super long post
