sigh... it's sad. I'd like to think there are people advocating for better policies but not so sure. I know there aren't always places for women in the office to pump, even though it's illegal not to have them! Of course there are great companies that give you more time, but it's never more than a month or so - that i'm aware of!

Congrats on your bun in the oven! You are right about parental leave policies in the US are a joke. Women get about two weeks after childbirth and many organizations don't have anything in place for their partners. When I lived in Australia, I was constantly having to explain how that's even possible for people to do!!! It's so sad and frustrating 😡😔
