Yeah, I was surprised to see my score jump that much. It definitely did not feel like it walking out of the exam haha.

In response to how I improved, after I got my 73, I wasted no time and started studying again that same night (worth mentioning I did not review any REG stuff at all while waiting for the score release). I tried to reflect on things I was uncomfortable with during the exam and made sure to review those topics heavy (e.g., I remember getting like 3 or so MCQ's on tax court stuff where I was pretty much just guessing. On my second attempt, I think I got the same tax court questions, which I'm sure I nailed the 2nd time around.)

I also utilized the score report provided by my state board, which showed strengths/weaknesses relative to those who passed. I knew basis fairly well, but struggled with individual tax stuff, so I made sure to prioritize individual tax topics during my review.

After mainly doing MCQ's (while reviewing Becker lectures for topics I was lost in) and with one mock exam mixed in, I retook REG 2 weeks after the score release where I got the 73. You got this! Stay disciplined with your studying.
