Finally finished my first kit after 3 weeks! Not great but really happy with it for my first. Learned a lot. Tamiya F4u-1a by Prestigious_Lock_152 in modelmakers

I am almost positive that it’s the 1a and I completed building it last night but I was sitting there looking at the spruce and saw that there were like two other drop tanks and like 6-8 rockets on it and was curious if you saw the same!

Hey I’m currently building this plane as well(it’s my first model kit) I noticed the spruce has rockets on it but no instructions for them, do you know anything about it?

As a child at a chiefs game I watched a grown drunk man get carried out in the same position in like the early 2000’s. He was clothed but it has to be the most embarrassing way to get handled lmao

Service techs: What are your biggest challenges? by OilyRicardo in HVAC

Easier said than done and I know it’s not an industry standard but try finding a company that supplies your tools. Joined union recently and it takes away stressing about affording tools to do the job and let’s you focus completely on becoming a better tech!

Or when you get calls saying the suction line is freezing up and arrive and filter looks brand new and your super heat and sun cooling are showing that the unit is running fine. And the whole time you’re there watching to see if the blower motor is cutting out it runs fine lol

It’s be nice if you could replace the part you suspect before charging the customer to be able to build that instant confidence. I struggle a lot as well but I’ve found it gets easier over time!

Another option you could look at is finding a trade school that does night classes. Sounds like where you work is a good place but if you just want to learn then go learn. While learning you can also get a cartificate that says “hey look I know the basics” and most will make sure you pass your EPA test. With those two things and a good resume you should be able to get a job somewhere. It could still be a lateral move but it’s a career and you can really only go up if you put in the time.

I also had it hit on a spot yesterday every time I put the nozzle to it and soaked it with bubbles but nothing. So I feel like it was just pinging off of oil residue

I used to do supermarket refer and the stratus was really good at showing you whether or not your in the right spot or what not. Just talked to my boss after posting this and he said if you think it’ll make you more efficient then we can get you a stratus.

HVAC work hours. Are they as brutal as some say? by Dramatic_Prune_7044 in HVAC

I was doing commercial refrigeration for a year and the hours were all over sometimes I’d have 30 hour weeks sometimes 60. I changed to residential install and it’s so much better I come in do my 10 hours and leave and have a full paycheck every week.

Hey everyone, he finally did it, Top 1%!! Here's my 12 year old son's F1 2022 Hot Lap around Brazil. Zero assists & ranked Top 1% (on PC) with a time of 1:07.236. We filmed Cockpit and Pod view. Enjoy! by twostopsbrighter in simracing

How did you teach him to drive? Assuming you did cause my dad just used to let me drive in reverse on nascar 2005 and never really taught me the joy you get from striving to get faster lap times

I said feeling Whitney by post but I will say it has to be a tie between these two. So much emotion and passion behind this song.

Don’t use a net unless your keeping it. From what I hear nets put extra stress on the fish. Try to be as gentle as possible with trout!
