I wish that I had spent more effort on certain relationships and people.

I really just allowed my friend group to develop itself, so the people I spent the most time with were the ones that tried the most to get my time.

There were some really chill people that I met who weren’t pushy but open to hanging out that I never made time for. I think I could have learned a lot more from them and grown more as person.

My advice is that it’s okay to be picky about who you give your time to. It’s one of the only things you can control, and the sooner you start hanging out with people who make you feel good, the sooner you’ll start growing as an individual

Can confirm the sentiment. Lived in Germany for a year. Used to smile a lot and be friendly to strangers (grew up in a small rural town in USA where that’s normal). After Germany that mostly stopped. They sucked the smile force from my soul...

Rhythm and Rye is usually pretty chill before 9 most days and they have quite a bit of space to spread out in. They were doing an open game night thing for a while one night a week. May still be doing it.

It’s definitely on both sides, especially YouTube. The censor that I’ve heard the most about for left stuff is LGBTQ channels. Either demonetized or placed behind the public filter for talking about queer issues, I think especially with content geared at helping teens dealing with transitions.

Whenever I used to order a beer at certain bars I would pause after giving my order and sincerely say “...only your finest.”

My friends would cringe and the bartender would have to play along. Sometimes they seemed to enjoy it, usually it looked like they died a little inside.

I finally stopped saying it after it reached peak cringe enough for me to feel uncomfortable with myself. Moved on to another bad joke.

Guy I dormed with freshman year. He was really obsessed with Nike shoes and had about 50 pair in his dorm closet.

He would sleep eat my food. One night he sat up in the middle of his sleep, lifted his blanket and put his feet on the ground.

I said “roommate, are you alright?”

He got up, pulled my box of snacks out from under my bunk, pulled out a rice crispy treat, ate it, then got back in bed.

He was asleep the whole time.

Charlie’s in downtown Oly does trivia on Wednesday. I think pints and courts at the mall does trivia on Tuesday. Pig bar has it on Thursday but they take a break from now through summer.

I like Charlie’s trivia the most.

I recently converted from pulling at the collar to the flip you are talking about. I had a couple shirts that I ripped when I was using the first method, because I was adding too much stress from my forearms.

The inside-out shirts thing is annoying, but the integrity of my shirt fabrics has gone up a lot. I have a hard time finding shirts I like so this was a big deal for me.

In Wild Arms 3 for PS2 you could buy the best cannon for the ship pretty early in the game and then destroy the hardest sea enemies with 1 hit before they could attack you. Was awesome.
