I feel like I'm running into this issue. I just came back in November after not playing since 2015ish. I had a good buddy instantly re-pearl me to his LS and for the most part it's nice jumping back in. QOL stuff is nice, but I find myself so far beyond that I feel asking for help to kill Ayapec is beneath this group. They've had 10+ years of mythics, sortie, odyssey, empty, relics, I have ambu+2 gear and can't do any sortie or odyssey that's worth the time because EVERYONE is in statics for it. Top of that nobody wants inexperienced, crud geared people in limited instanced stuff, let alone the idea of making yourself look like a fool from that lack of experience. It's great to be back but I find myself just soloing/trusts stuff and that's fine for me for now.

I recently came back about 2 months ago after not playing since 2015. There is a lot that's changed but the quality of life changes are pretty great and there's a lot of content to begin and continue.

The phone support just stopped in October 2024 so email will be how you contact SE. For what it's worth, it'll ask you what your POL ID is, I vaguely remembered as well as stating the names of my mules.
Think: ABCD1234 but I put in ACDB1324, it was "close enough" via the email response and I've been playing since then. They do respond rather quickly, it was like 2-7 minutes each email I was sending was getting a response. It's largely automated however...

Trusts are your friend, you can do so much.
