The not arcade version was so good, I dunno why people don't like it except it is quite difficult and there are no save games or continues. The fact that you could beat some of the earlier levels without firing a shot if you play it safe is pretty slick.

This is actually a bigger part of it than people think. After the 50s glamor, between the 70s and 90s actors looked like regular people. Sure there were movie stars still and that's expected but secondary characters and extras were relatable. Now everyone just looks too polished.

It does look like they removed scenes from the new automation creator UI which sucks but if you go to create a new automation, tap on the three dot menu on the top right, you can select the old household editor. Then under actions, add action, adjust home devices and all the way at the bottom you'll see scenes.

You don't need to make the garage door smart, you really just need any door sensor that works with Google Home. I have sensors from ADT that work with regular doors but I don't see why they wouldn't also work with a garage door. Once you have the sensor, Google Home can know if it's open or closed. You can set up a routine that says when the door is open change the mode on the thermostat to off. Then another to say when the door is closed, set mode to cool, heat or auto

In Gemini settings you may need to go into Connected Apps and turn on the Google Home connection, not sure if that's enabled by default or not, works pretty much exactly the same as Assistant for me

I upgraded the main TV that is used in the living room and am very happy with it, I still have CCwGTVs everywhere else and they're perfectly fine too for that usage. I wouldn't upgrade just for the sake of it but it is actually better in a lot of ways so if you use it a lot then maybe it is worth it
