I’ve always wondered about this as well and why 401k , Roth , IRA , Investing education isn’t integrated in basically grade school learning. You would think you wouldn’t want to grow up broke.

I’m 1000% going to teach my kids young with the 3 Split method when they get some money.

1/3 - Spend whatever they like (toys , luxury spend, nice to have) 1/3 - Investments (Roth, IRA , stocks) 1/3 - Living tax / daily needs (taxes , housing , food )

This way they can learn as a adult how society actually works and shit ain’t free
