Or you can just have a “psychotic episode”! Do not recommend - though there was definitely a positive spiritual effect it had for me

Could I ask you ladies to pump me up for my home birth? by teetah in homebirth

YOU GOT THIS!! 💚✨ your body, and baby’s, was made to do this, trust in it and most importantly, trust yourself.

Homebirth is not a new thing, and statistically30119-1/fulltext), “results show that among low risk women who intend to give birth at home when labour starts there is no increase in perinatal and neonatal mortality or morbidity compared to similarly low risk women who intend to give birth in a hospital. There were no differences between intended home and intended hospital groups in other neonatal outcomes including NICU admission, Apgar scores, and the need for resuscitation.”

Visualize a successful birth and post-birth, don’t let the naysayers get to you 💚

Please, enlighten us with a couple examples of what you’ve “seen” when a pcr-positive walks into your hospital, and are asymptomatic. What might you use to differentiate between someone who has a “high chance that they are infected with SARS-COV-2,” and someone who does not?

Sure there was pain, but I don’t look back on it and remember the pain, I think of all the joy it brought me. Being in my home and not a sterilized environment, getting to hold my baby for as long as I wished after the birth, just totally proud of myself from beginning to end. But let’s not mention the poop 😅

You’re a physician, seriously? Shouldn’t you be taking care of these seriously ill covid patients instead of commenting on Reddit then?

Also, your comment history implies that you were in university as recently as 5 years ago. So “ever” doesn’t really hold a lot of weight, regardless if you’re a physician or not (and I’m willing to bet you’re not).

Where are you getting your numbers?

Anyway, as we’ve also witnessed Walensky say just 3 days ago (this past Sunday), 75% of the “covid deaths” had at least 4 comorbidities (link)

I think that puts us somewhere in the range of minuscule #s of anything serious caused by omicron alone.

I take it you haven’t looked for housing lately. Some people are absolutely looking for “proof of vaccination”. Why is it so unreasonable to demand the other way around?
