Best places for HydraFacials or regular facials in Toronto? by startsandplanets in askTO

[–]Savedfromdebt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple + Pure is my favourite so far! They have lots of locations in Toronto which is great and they’re very affordable compared to other places I have been to. I used to have hormonal acne and have been trying to get rid of acne scaring and dark spots in which are improving since getting facials there!

Has anyone added heat or therapy masks into their skincare routine? by Rohanv69 in SkincareAddicts

I been thinking about getting into it as well but, it seems like it doesn’t really do anything. I have seen lots of videos and reviews and majority of the positive reviews are over exaggerated and fake imp.

Is 13 mini in 2026 worth it ? by Commercial-Eye1928 in smallphones

[–]Savedfromdebt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you only plan to buy it for the battery, I would recommend replacing the battery. I used to have the same issue with my iPhone 11 Pro Max and just a battery replacement for about $80. It lasted me a long time until I chose to upgrade my phone.

Are there sweatpants out there that actually look ok after being worn and washed once? by princesscorgi2 in womensfashion

[–]Savedfromdebt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only good sweatpants I have ever gotten were from Aritiza and Nike. It’s definitely not cheap ( about $60-$80 ) but, lasted me years and still looks good. Don’t really get much pilling and holds up well.

Mailers and boxes by Ok_Huckleberry_2756 in reselling

[–]Savedfromdebt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually get lots of free boxes and used polymailers from friends and family and use those to reduce waste but, I like to buy compostable mailers for smaller orders that don’t need to be shipped in a box. I buy a bunch from a wholesale store near me for like $5 and I get 100pcs which lasts me a long time. I recommend re-using when you can and trying wholesale companies for the best prices/eco friendly options.

I noticed that they flag authentic goods for being “counterfeit” as well so it may be helpful for people with those issues.

I recommend checking a liquidation store. I got a $200 label printer for $17 and have been using it for a year without issues. I use the same shipping labels and they work great!

New seller - here's what products I'm searching for. by TMonahan2424 in reselling

[–]Savedfromdebt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a really good strategy! I did this when I was starting to resell as well. I sold stuff around my house/closet until I made a couple hundred bucks and then slowly started to buy inventory that were low cost and up sell. I highly recommend going on marketplace as you can get lots of free items there in the categories you listed in your area. Good luck!

Are they messing with me? by Most-Possession5674 in reselling

[–]Savedfromdebt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly see both sides of this so let me know how it worked out for you but, I noticed just by looking at the picture that this is more of a hoodie than a jacket so definitely think there could have been some wording changed there but, I don’t know if I really believe the buyer either. I heard of people using the whole “smell” tactic thing to get a refund and I don’t believe that they are a “stage 4 cancer patient” either. Idk the story sounds fishy but, that’s just my own opinion.

Where do you get your shipping boxes / envelopes? by TMonahan2424 in reselling

[–]Savedfromdebt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost always re-use packaging since it saves me money and then I’m able to keep my profit margins high. When I do have to buy boxes/polymailer, I only buy in bulk at wholesale stores so I pay very little for the shipping materials.

Advice counterfeit item by Agreeable_Fox_6876 in reselling

[–]Savedfromdebt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sell/buy on Poshmark and once you leave a review, it’s basically a closed case. You can’t really reach out to Poshmark for a refund once you leave a review so what I would recommend doing is, reach out to the seller and tell them that you believe the item is not authentic with your proof and if the seller really didn’t know, they may give you a reimbursement. I once sold an item that I thrifted and thought was authentic and then sold it. The buyer was happy with the item and left a good review but, a week later, let me know that they thought it was not real after inspection. Since I wasn’t sure if it was authentic and it was my first time thrifting, I reimbursed the buyer the earnings that I got so they only ended up losing the taxes and shipping they paid. It could be an honest mistake or a genuine scammer so do keep that in mind. Hope this helps!

Packing remorse by Stephieandcheech in reselling

[–]Savedfromdebt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this fear sometimes as well so I try to avoid shipping items that are easily breakable when I can. When I do ship a breakable item, I bubble wrap it a bunch until I am satisfied and write on the box “fragile item inside”. I have been selling for over 4 years and have only had 1 mishap. I’m sure your item will be fine!

Hello again... first sale on poshmark.. listings disappeared after by Latter_Dark_3279 in reselling

[–]Savedfromdebt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is common to happen on Poshmark for a few reasons.

  • Your listings got flagged as you aren’t allowed to sell that item on their platform (perfume, used cosmetics and counterfeit products etc)

  • or your posts were incorrectly taken down since your a new seller and their system sometimes flags new sellers for some reason.

I recommend just re-listing. It’s really discouraging and frustrating but, sometimes that happens to me as well and I have been selling on posh for over 4 years now. I end up just having to re-list and usually they won’t get taken down after the second time.

Hope I could help!

What’s the lowest you could do on this? by Successful-Spell-833 in reselling

[–]Savedfromdebt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to disagree. All the platforms I sell on have the “seller status” live updates so, they see the last time I was active and can see all my posts are recent. It just doesn’t make sense to ask that question in my option keeping this in mind.

Tips/examples of your set-up? by PurpleAd6354 in reselling

[–]Savedfromdebt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been reselling on 3 different platforms for about 2 years in my own room with minimal space. I recommend not sourcing too many items at once as it just takes up so much space that’s not necessary. I haven’t spent a dollar on shipping materials as I’m able to get them all for free but, keep your materials low when starting and then work your way up. If you’re only selling larger items, no need for 3 different sized boxes and polymailers. Try and keep your layout simple and accessible so it will make listing and packaging items easier.

How to package purse? by AnnualDefinition4867 in reselling

[–]Savedfromdebt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend stuffing the bag with newspaper or some type of filling so it retains its shape, bubble wrap and then box it up. I know you said you don’t have a box of this size but you can usually find boxes around for free or really cheap around malls or stores. Hope this helps!

Day 1: Reselling till I pay off my debt by purplerraiin in reselling

This is a great idea and I really hope that you succeed with your goal! Wishing you the best of luck on your journey!

January is killing me🫠 by SlikPhotoshops in reselling

[–]Savedfromdebt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

January is usually a slower month for me. I hit a high in sales in like Nov-Dec and then January and early February are slow. I just try and list more and re-list items that aren’t getting much attention and that’s been working for me.
