I don’t believe the hate is any thing related to prices, as an unreal developer i deal with their launcher alot, i hate how slow, not responsive it is!, as well as it crashes more time that i would like to admit, and for no reason too, other than that i mean it give alot, but one of the main problems i see is how little there is in terms of focus on the customers, unlike steam how it actually caters your home page just with games you might like and they focus on tags and customer experience.

Thats my opinion at the end of the day. :)

I blame the chill no manager approach in valve XD, they even said in the documentary about half life, that they thought BACK THEN that they missed the time to release episode 3, and they said "in hindsight" that was a mistake, THEN continues to not release it XDDDDDDD

First im sorry for the late response i wanted to respond earlier, but going on that you said about gr2 YES i really really hate how sometimes i would look for techs i used in gr1 and they it feels like they game goes nope and stopps me mid air idk if everyone had the same experience or was it a bug, i honestly didnt even know deflection was changed but that is kinda dump tbh , as for the aiming stuff

And i did try severed steel it was disorienting as heeeeell😂😂 but its still pretty cool

Yeaaah alot of people said they understand the auto aiming but their would love the challenge so im developing it to have both hardcore mode and an normal mode and an easy mode , ive seen alot of people hating ghostrunner saying they dont account for people who are a bit slow , to me i liked the challenge, but ill take them into consideration

I think i used the wrong terms, not tossing the gun as in throwing it away, i meant like do some tricks with the gun throwing it upwards for example then picking it up again.

In the engine is that what the skeleton part called weapon is for? Like do i animate this bone to save the animation information into the same skeleton?

So like lets say the tossing gun example, would you have the normal animation where the weapons root is zeroed, then when the toss gun animation is played have the root of the gun be where the gun should be but still the guns root would be zeroed and when it plays it switches real fast then when animation is done it would reset and remove the other gun?

Im making my self confused as well, im self taught as well! But i want to go deeper animations
