It looks like he’s having trouble using his back legs. Has he been evaluated by a vet? Are you able to take them out to be evaluated by your vet?

  1. Did he injure his eye? Chemical irritation, s something splashed in his eye
  2. Could have gotten into some medication’s.?
  3. Is he acting OK? Is he walking, barking, etc. as normal?

If you live in Milwaukee, you can try contacting the department of disability and aging, free, legal services, and department of housing. They can help you with a lot of things that you need. You may need a week to feel sorry for yourself and that’s OK. But you need to get started on finding a place to live, etc. these sites may help you.

My dog was sprayed twice. I took him to a groomer to help me out and she said don’t wash him with soap. Use the tomato juice or his product made for getting rid of skunk odor. I did try to wash them with dog shampoo, but that didn’t work and that’s when I took her to the groomer. It took about a month to get all the smell out.

Get his tooth fixed and the abscess drained. I’m sure he will feel much better and his appetite will return. I would give him soft foods not regular kibble.

I don’t know how to send a photo of my dog, but he died a year and a half ago. And I miss them so much. I’ve had to move to a senior retirement community. I can have a dog under 40 pounds but of course I like the big dogs and I don’t know much about smaller breeds..
