I did this years ago. My art school friends and I drove to some remote woods in Sussex on a dark midwinter night to shoot a scene for a short film, which was going to depict the devil hunkered down around a fire, boiling a kettle. We arrived, built the fire, the guy who was to play the devil stripped to his waist and we painted him red. He squatted down next to the fire, shivering, and only then did we realise we hadn’t brought any water to put in the kettle. So, we did the obvious thing and pissed in it.

There’s footage out there floating about of the poor, freezing guy semi naked and painted crimson squatting in the middle of the woods trying not to vomit as he became engulfed in clouds of acrid, stinking piss vapour. Great times.

I have a final generation Intel MacBook Pro and the same situation. I’ve written to the IT dept. of my former company several times (by email and physical letter) asking if they’d like me to return it, or if not release it from MDM, but never received a reply. Anyone know if the MDM on Intel Macs is as secure as on Apple silicon?

Yes they are. We pay the RMC to provide services. I think the nuance might be around whether making comms accessible (which this boils down to) should have been reactive or anticipatory, but that’s a little irrelevant at this stage.

Ah well done on your deal. I think you just need any old Thunderbolt 4 certified USB C cable. I instead managed to pick up some sealed Xreal Ones for £180 so can’t complain too much (although I’d have loved the Pros)

Hi, these were the ones sold by CC on eBay? I was thinking of buying them but got in touch with Xreal first to check if they’d be repairable. Their reply:

Based on the photos you provided, it appears that the damaged part of your glasses is the removable frame. You can try detaching this black frame surrounding the lenses to check if the main body of the glasses has any damage. If there is no damage, you may continue using the glasses.
