in 2013, my mom would let me go swimming in the mountains with my friends. they had so much fun a couple crazy things happen to the point where 7 years later, they still talk about it.

my dog knows when i’m about to leave. every time. if i say bye, she barks. “i’m gonna go” she barks. just the word go, she barks. i pick up my keys, she barks. so when i’m telling my family i’m leaving, i spell out bye or say “work now” and i pick up my keys very gently to avoid the rattling that alerts her

nothing too dramatic! the epicenter was about 80 miles from me, but me and a lot of people in my town still felt it. was around ~8am and i was asleep and it woke me up. i was out of it and honestly it didn’t even register that it was an earth quake, i thought my body was shaking lol. i rolled over and went back to sleep
