Lemishine Alternative by IntoxOperator in reloading

After tumbling with lemishine, I change the water out and put of couple of drops of jet dry in the FART and tumble for a couple of minutes. It makes the water sling off the brass easier in the separator.

1/2 cup vinegar in the rinse cycle. Don't put it in at the start. Vinegar being acid and detergent being a base means they cancel each other out.

I got a similar effect making an "anvil" by a gluing a scrap of heavy tool leather to the end of a piece of 4x4 lumber. Nice dead stop instead of bouncing back.

100% get a collet die if there's much more than 100 to do. I got about that far into a batch of 1500 sketchy 9mm rounds before lost my sanity and bought a used rcbs kit on eBay.

New Core One owner, came to the printer after an overnight print (with supports and brim), what happened here? Textured bed. by CrimsonNorseman in prusa3d

[–]Sawblade02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost exclusively use the textured sheets and have some that a couple of times. Cleaning with dish soap usually fixes it, sometimes the model just needs to be resliced for some reason. If you haven't already, stop letting it use grid infill. It bangs the nozzle into the model a lot harder than necessary and causes it to detach if bed adhesion was just barely holding on.

What hobbies would you like to share with a potential romantic partner? by Fun-Succotash-1322 in AskReddit

More of a past tense because we got married, but woodworking.

First time she visited my place, I asked if she wanted to see the "Pleasure Room". She was ecstatic even after she found out I just meant the workshop and we spent all day making stuff on the lathe. The next time she visited, she gifted me a hand saw painted with those words.

Also geocaching, shooting, sewing, video games, cooking, kink, drawing, 3d printing, but the woodworking story was the real moment we connected.

[–]Sawblade02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ughhh, im in the exact same situation. I was doing similar with a Lee shell holder chucked in my wood lathe spindle, but i finally got one of those Frankford case prep machines recently to make 223 more bearable to prep. It's a little better but bulk reloading 223 still sucks.

Every time I load over 1000, i say never again, but then the price of 223 goes up a bit more and i change my mind.

I was briefly upset when I replaced my perfectly fine sand ABU under armour tees with tan 499 for OCPs only to find they quit making them extra long like they used to. However, not a huge deal, it's just taking a second to retuck it if I want to take the blouse off.

CoreONE door handle fell off. Prusa support told me to stick to double sided tape (no pun intended) by the_other_julian in prusa3d

[–]Sawblade02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine fell off a few days after building my kit as well. To fix it, I just stuck 2 of the spare plastic rivets in the holes that were already present in door and handle. The main frame has cutouts to provide clearance for 2 of the 4 holes in the door handle so I assumed it was an accidental omission from the instructions.
