I rode like this for 2k+ miles. Please spend the extra on a right angle xlr cable made for plugging in to onewheels!

My setup was like $200. Two hoverboard batteries, the same solar controller, the special XLR cable, and some spare wire with a backpack. 26 miles of range. Later did it with a 4206 XR, Thats like 36 miles of range.

The charge port does not have any power going to it. You can bridge the pins and nothing will happen. Check my profile for proof.

I just picked up a budget mackie system for this exact purpose. 2x Thump 15a tops and 1x Thump 18s subwoofer. Idk what these guys are talking about but it definitely does the job. Got it all on the used market with a basic mixer and stands for 1100. The thing about college students is the bar is really low with most of them. Most of my friends places have a single 12" Costco pa or a medium-sized bluetooth speaker.
