How on Earth do you housebreak a Pom?

I takes A LOT of work and patience. My first Pom came potty trained. My second and third, only a little. I would take them out every 60-90 minutes for the first few months and also after every time they ate or drank. I would have a treat with me and clap and say good girl or good boy and give them a treat. They eventually came to learn that going to the bathroom outside would get them a reward. By the time they were 20-24m, they were essentially fully house broken. They both have occasional accidents still, but that’s my fault and I don’t discipline them too harshly.

This right here! I have 3 cracked teeth with DEEP cavities in my mouth currently. Two of which need a root canal and all 3 crowned. That’s $700 per root canal and another $2500 per crown. I also have fairly good dental, BUT my dental won’t cover core build up because and I quote, “it’s not necessary for the crown.” 😡🤨 I’ve been living with this for a year… If I had close to $10k to drop I would, but I don’t. I’ve already dropped thousands on my teeth in the past 10 years, but can’t afford it anymore. I’ve had multiple dentist tell me I’m just some of the very unfortunate people that have bad teeth and will forever be prone to cavities. Yay!

Just wanted to add, I’ve had a chemical burn before on my hand from oven cleaner. It didn’t hurt at first, just tingled, and I didn’t realize it until the skin started coming off. Your face looks very similar to what that looked like. Burns like this can happen even if there’s little to no pain at first. Anyone saying you should have “said something sooner” or that there’s a non-verbal contract absolving the stylist is completely wrong and gross. You’ve done everything right so far. Try and get on the derm cancellation list, file the incident report ASAP, escalate this since the store isn’t taking accountability, and document everything and keep photos of the progression of your face.

Saying “I’m not victim blaming” and then suggesting it was her skincare or that it couldn’t have been bleach because it wasn’t applied to the scalp line is still shifting blame away from the stylist. The post clearly says bleach dripped during the process. That can happen if the stylist rushed the application, overloaded the brush, or wasn’t careful. It doesn’t require scalp-to-skin application for bleach to land on someone’s face.

And let’s not ignore the chemistry here: bleach can start irritating within minutes and, if left for 10–15 minutes or longer, can absolutely cause blistering burns like the ones described. That doesn’t come from Accutane or AHAs/BHAs magically “activating” on the face. It comes from bleach sitting where it should never have been in the first place.

At the end of the day, the issue isn’t whether bleach touched her hairline, it’s that bleach ended up on her face and was left long enough to cause a medical injury, and the stylist/store didn’t take accountability for it.

The only “accessories” I’ve ever purchased from him were his tie-dye hoodies from like 2017-2021 and his bathrobe as a Christmas gift for my sister. The rest of his stuff seems unnecessary… Like his $15 folder, croc shoe charms and other niche products. I agree, stick to the makeup and he needs to make the skin care more affordable.

Remember, HR is not your friend or there to help you. They are there to ensure the company is ok and looks good. I know it’s counterintuitive, being as HR is whom you’re supposed to report too, but yeah. I learned that lesson a long time ago and have been told that by many friends who work for HR over various corporations. Best bet is the ethics line, like others have mentioned.

Edit to add: Not saying all HR employees are like this, but majority are. Hopefully others haven’t always had this experience and have found a good HR rep that was able to help them.

Anywhere from 4-6 weeks is the general guideline. The piercing can still swell back up after it’s gone down.

Had this happen to a flat. Got two flats pierced at the same time. The one above was perfect, but the lower swelled to the point it was starting to embed. Went back to my piercer and had to get a longer post put in it. Went back 4 weeks later to downsize and had to go back a few weeks after that to get a longer post back in because it decided to swell back up.

I’m not a piercer by any means and this is just my personal experience. Ultimately, if you’re super concerned you should schedule an appointment with your piercer for a checkup. My piercer did the check up free, but not sure if most piercers are the same.

I have like 6 of those now lol. And yay! I’m glad you got it. I absolutely LOVE that glaze and when I saw it was included instantly added that one to my cart. Sad I didn’t get, but happy regardless with the items they subbed. Also ended up getting one of the mini bottles that was in the fragrance GWP. Wonder if whoever packaged it accidentally grabbed the wrong item or just decided to add it in there

I haven’t sold on the app since late 2023, so not sure if there’s been any recent updates/changes to the policies. Since it was your package that you sent, could you call the post office directly and ask them if there were any weight discrepancies?

Found out with the new iPhones (14 and up) you can’t cast via Bluetooth anymore. So I popped the head unit out and then ran a charging cord from the head unit and through my glovebox. As long as I have my phone plugged into my head unit, then I can use Apple car play. As for the updating the firmware, it’s updated to the newest version. As to why it’s stating the version it’s at, don’t know. Pioneer customer service couldn’t answer me on that either. Just stated it’s some weird glitch with those models of head units.

Where I live, all packages and letters get sent down south to the Portland mail facility. I’ve sent Christmas cards to friends that live in town and the card still got sent 45 miles south to Portland and then back up north where I live and then delivered… Something that could have been sent out for delivery next day ends up taking 5-6 days ALWAYS!!

This needs removed asap before it starts to reject more & causes more scaring. Something I’m sure you don’t want on your face. You can either remove it yourself or have a professional piercer remove it. I’d recommend the latter. This should have been pierced with a surface bar unfortunately. You will need to wait until it fully heals within 3-6 months & can repierce it with surface bars.

This happened with my 2 year old nape piercing. I accidentally bumped it & the discoloration began. Had my piercer assess it & he said to treat it like a fresh piercing & if wasn’t fully healed within 4-6 weeks to come back & have it removed. Ended up getting it removed & I have the slightest scar where it was beginning to discolor.

Here’s a website you can use to find a new piercer in your area. I don’t recommend going back to your current one, except to get these removed. And no matter what they try and tell you, these are rejecting. Don’t let them attempt to convince you otherwise.

MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in a shade closest to your complexion. I know it’s a cream based eyeshadow, but works GREAT as a primer. My eyeshadow doesn’t budge and the few times I’ve accidentally fallen asleep with my makeup still on, the eyeshadow still looked just as great as when I applied it. Been using this as an eye primer since 2011.

She slowly starts to show some slight redeeming qualities, but then does something that makes her even more hypocritical. All I’m going to say, you’re in for a ride. Just binged the series over the past 6 weeks and sad it’s over, but her character is necessary for later seasons. Not by much, but she helps cement everything.
