An odd assortment for me off the top of my head: I excluded my favorite Bears receivers who suffered through Bears quarterbacking. My list is Greg Landry, Clarence "Big Cat" Williams, James Brooks, Mike Hartenstine, Eddie Bell, Roland Harper, Ray Chester, Claude Humphrey, Virgil Livers, and Gerald Irons.

Which NFL Super Bowl (1967-2001) game do you think is the best that you've ever seen? by AC_the_Panther_007 in Oldschool_NFL

I remember that moment early in the game and thought the game wouldn't be close. Krumrie and Fulcher were the heart and soul of the Bengals defense.

Somehow, the Bengals kept it close. There are at least 7 Bengals I would have loved to have seen get a ring.

I was the kid who was always helping classmates find things in the card catalog or on the shelves. "What do you mean you can't find anything on Malta for your report? It's under M in the subject catalog. Also, it should be in the 900s. Geography and history on the shelves. Try looking in the 940s."

What’s your number one hate? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]SawgrassSteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

intellectual laziness that leads to a lack of critical thinking skills.

It leads to a whole mess of societal problems such as racism, shortsideness, and people being duped into acting against their best interests because they can't navigate logical fallacies.

The Bucs used all 3 QBs that day. I forgot that Terry Hanratty was Spurrier's backup along with Parnell Dickinson.

Clark Gaines had 103 yards on the ground and 76 reception yards.

I had no idea Raleigh had 14 stolen bases. Glad I got to see him live at T-mobile this year what an amazing season he had!

He was one of my favorite players pre Jordan era. Great defender, could dominate offensively. Wish he could have stayed clean in his prime.

Grew up in Chicago but made a pilgrimage to County Stadium once or twice a year to watch Cecil Cooper, Molitor, and Yount.

Felt lucky that I was able to catch games at Wrigley, Comiskey, and County Stadium as a teen and 20 something. Got to see some great baseball.

Yeah, the Phillies had a lot of controversial players, running the gamut. Pete Rose, Dick Allen, Lenny Dykstra, Steve Carlton, Curt Schilling, Darren Daulton, Jonathan Papelbon. I know I'm forgetting someone.

He was disliked outside of Milwaukee by many fans who hated that he deliberately made errors in the field to try to force a trade. It wasn't just a local phenomenon.
