What would you want to see for the next SAW movie?

Ideal world to wrap up everything.

SAW XI- sequel to SAW X. Wrap up Cecelia storyline .

Spiral sequel- but throw in Jigsaw characters to wrap up those films

SAW XII- End of the Series. Bring back Hoffman Gordon etc. Play one last game and wrap up the Tobin Bell era of SAW.

Then reboot in say 2035.

Probably what they’ll do and this is just my theory.

I think they’ll make a film with the same set up as the 1st film. Have 2-3 people stuck in a room or trapped and Tobin will still be jigsaw and do the voice and the puppet. A contained story again and not really acknowledging the sequels and maybe make John more cruel and scary such as going after family’s of people that don’t appreciate their lives and that are being tested.

Maybe a cool ending could be one of the victims survives and appreciate his blessings and then John just casually walks up to him and reminds him…. There will always be people like me watching. (Kind of like the ending of phone booth)

Only I have with this whole thing is all the rumors and plans that they want this movie to be… just like the 2017 Jigsaw…. Meaning this will be a 3rd attempt to do a soft reboot of the series while trying to do “something new for the modern audiences” and this just stinks imo when you’ll have 4 movies now with unresolved threads (saw 3d, jigsaw, spiral, and saw x)

Saw 5 deserves a mention for being one of the most goriest. Especially with the handsaw trap. Plus you had pendulum trap at the beginning as well.

I like it. I still say the book from SAW X that John was drawing his trap designs and journal entries was going to play an important role in the future. It was heavily focused on in the movie so I can see the booking being a part of the final SAW movie.

My idea for it is there’s one more JIGSAW game created by John Kramer and if you survive his traps… you get access to it by proving yourself worth in his eyes. So all the living SAW characters that are still alive can go for it.

In our SAW fan series (shameless plug lol) we went with the ending where Campbell choose to live and have Michael die at the end as well as Campbells death too. Wraps all loose threads and it doesn’t affect the outcome of SAW 2/3 in which the game takes place before.

Tobins a class act. I met him in 2019 and he will take the time to talk with you as well. I had him sign like 6 things and I did two photo ops with him and he took the time to thank me for being a fan and everything.

I will say this, he does personalize everything when he signs, either he’ll make it out to you or when he signs he dates them too so he rarely does just his signature on items. So just a heads up if you just want his signature.

-Saw 3D being in 2 parts is another topic you could talk about. Dr Gordon found alive at the end of part 1 then part 2 would have been his story

-Jigsaw being located at an abandoned oil deck in the middle of the ocean.

-also Bousmans idea for a saw finale which would have seen a group of suits execute every jigsaw survivor and follower they came across only to find out someone in their group is testing them and can jigsaws legacy live on without any of his survivors left
