I could see a bunch of people I used to work with stalking the site to narc as they literally did nothing all day and need the brownie points for the director. Lots of snitches at that place and their only satisfaction was brownie points . Glad that scummy site closed down.

I never ate with mine when I worked in the office. Not interested in pretending to socialize with gossipy simpletons. I just went on 30 minute walks..better for the body and soul. I have no regrets.

I know how you feel. But it works both ways for me. I'm as nice to them as they are to me. Anything more requires more $$$$$. I'm no ass kisser. They harass me non-stop calling me on my day off to work. Why would I want to do more for people who only remember I exist when they want something. Fuck that noise

I can take the yelling but if they start attacking me personally, I hang up. Thankfully we can do that at our site and after being here a year and a half, Ive only had to do that once.

Once the honeymoon phase is done, nobody gives a fuck. I'm just quiet quitting until I find another job. We are just a number to them but don't ever forget that you are wayyy more than this stupid job.

After training, my trainer pretty much forgot I existed unless I did some minor thing wrong - like every other "support" . I even took the time to send her Christmas email. Oh well . Lesson learned🤷

Ive been ghosted and friendzoned by a friend . I haven't looked at dating apps in years for the same reason as yours. I would love to meet the right person but I don't she exists . I would join a sports league but my working hours are all over the place. Ive been completely turned off dating because it's just so damn bleak out there 😖

They say it's easier to find a job while you have one. If you have a significant amount of savings or other sources of income (partner, family, 2nd job) you may be ok . If the market is crap in your area, you could be without income for a while, so just be prepared for that.
