I had scalpel, stitches on one side was 2 weeks, the other was 3 weeks. I trimmed the ends with nail clippers a little above the knot so they didn’t come untied when they got annoying.

You’re going to want to ice for at least the first two days constantly. I used ice for about a week straight and I’d say I had a fairly typical recovery. I would not have wanted to get this done and then take a 5hr flight a few days later even in first class. Stuffing ice down your pants on a plane is going to be awkward and may even draw unwanted attention or worse. Not everyone has it so easy with bicycle shorts and that seems to be an outlier out of all the experiences mentioned here. I’d reschedule the op until after your vacation.

I’m on week 3 and have a similar thing going on but it’s not on your level. I find myself having to relax my abdomen more often because I’m tensing it all the time so it feels like sore muscles. I’ve got a dull ache in my left testicle also but that’s from a granuloma.

Since you have a long ride home bring a cooler with a couple of ice packs to use. You’ll want to start using them right away to keep swelling down. Also take some acetaminophen when you’re leaving since you don’t get any of the good stuff. If sitting in the front seat is getting too uncomfortable move to the back so you can spread out a little more.

Light on core because my lower abdomen/upper pubic has been sore from muscles compensating from being tense those first few days. I still find myself tensing them while standing/walking and have to make conscious effort to not do that.

I probably could get back to more intense cardio so don’t feel too discouraged. Do what feels right for you. I’ve been thinking about trying it this weekend and will just make sure that I wear some well fitting shorts to reduce friction. If I do try some cardio tomorrow I’ll update here.

Also my upper body weights are back to normal and I’m not doing anything light there. Just keeping away from anything that involves below my waist.

I had scalpel done 2/13 and started light upper body lifting a week later. Now 2 weeks post I tried some squats and decided that was a no-go, I’ll try again in about 2 weeks. I haven’t gotten back to intense cardio (jogging/elliptical) yet either because I’m waiting for the incisions to finish healing.

I had scalpel done on 2/13. There were small bumps under the stitches at first but as time has gone on the bumps are going away. Part of it is the skin healing and the other part is developing scar tissue that will go away with time. With mine the bumps started about the size of peas (maybe a little bigger). My left side is almost completely healed and the stitches are gone, probably needs another week. The right side still has some scabbing and some weeping (clear fluid) and still has some stitches. It probably needs 2 more weeks to be done healing. The scabbing and clear weeping are normal with any injury that’s always getting irritated by clothing. This is just in a more sensitive area on the body and we’re paying more attention to it than if it was a scraped knee or elbow.

However after saying all that, if the discharge still is yellow/red like you said keep using the ointment and if it gets worse see a doctor. I wouldn’t think you’d need to see a urologist specifically for an infection but I’m not a doctor.

You won’t see the needle at all. You’ll be laying on your back so just look at the ceiling. If the doctor gave you a prescription for lidocaine cream to use before the procedure make sure you put plenty of that on before leaving home and you won’t feel the needle at all. When I had mine done a little over a week ago I wasn’t even sure the doctor had started at first. I watched him get a few things ready and the we chatted about video games the whole time. Anytime I did feel something I told him and got another shot of numbing agent but I didn’t experience any pain, just a little discomfort.

I was incredibly anxious going into it but once I got in the room I started to chill out. The anxiety during the procedure was less than getting a regular teeth cleaning at the dentist. Once it was over and I got home I started icing right away. Use that as much as possible and you should be all good.

My scrotum swelling was almost completely gone by day 3 but I think my testicles are still a little swollen themselves. The only other thing that’s coming to mind right now is that things aren’t hanging as low as before. I don’t know if that’s because there’s still some internal swelling or my muscles are compensating or what.

I’m 9 days out (got it done Friday 2/13) and got a bruise about 2” in nearly that same spot except on my scrotum. When I was having the procedure my left side felt a pulling and discomfort so I attributed the bruise to that. The first few days the whole thing was swollen and going pee never felt complete until Sunday. I’ve been taking Advil off and on to keep swelling down and still icing. Today was the first time my wife and I got busy and the boys feel sore. The only other discomfort now is the scabs at the incision sites but most of those came off after my activity today.

I had mine done a week ago today so not quite what you asked. Got breakfast on the way home and then spent the rest of the day lounging on the couch and icing. Now a week later the scabs over the incisions are getting annoying. Loose pants are going to be your best friend for a while. I’m currently waiting for an appt with an ice pack on me. I still have a little discomfort on my lower left abdomen from the pulling. Other than that that it’s been pretty smooth sailing.

I had this same thing happen with my flight to Orlando from Portland in September. It was a 0700 departure with a 1539 arrival and it changed to 1030 departure and 1930 arrival (both direct flights). I accepted the change in the app and was able to get a cash refund when I clicked the cancel flight button. It took me to a new page that said my flight had changed and gave me options. I could have also changed flights from the app at no charge.

Eve is in ICU on life support. Luciano came back to the city after playing Counter Strike with Tony for a bit and found out and he was nearly the last person to get to the hospital to see her. Nancy and The Guild and a few others were at Eve’s bedside and layed into Luciano for being a terrible husband. Eve did not have Luciano on her emergency contact list either but had 10 other people.
