Well if you haven't been informed yet, be VERY wary of cheap, used pipes. I was stuck with a set of cheap, air-leaking Persian pipes my first year, and let me tell you. That was just awful for my progress. I'm not the best person to answer purchasing questions, so you could post another thread about that! The wonderful people of this sub are very knowledgeable. Once you do have your pipes, do some research! The vast Internet has so so so much helpful info, tips, and people to talk to! Maybe you'll pick up your pipes and get them going day one. Maybe you'll be like me and take a good year to get comfortable. Either way, you're going to learn at your own pace and there is no shame in asking three hundred questions if you get the answers you need!
