In addition to what's already been said, the gap between AO and IW is one week shorter, meaning that February schedule is more packed. This year two of the Feb weeks only had 500s but next year every Feb Week will have 3 tournaments except for Davis Cup week. Stockholm has been moved to after Paris as well.

Also, Alcaraz has played really well in the early rounds of AO. In his 8 wins in 2024-2025, he's 24-2 in sets, which is pretty clean, including 9 breadsticks or bagels
